My god what an absolute nightmare of an app. Been sitting in my car for 30 minutes trying to connect to my camera. Unreal how bad a dedicated app can be for the most top rated dashcams in the world. I would have bought a competing camera if I knew it would be this big of a pain to use.

I wasted way too much time trying to update the firmware on my A229Pro. After two days trying, I called support and spoke with John. He explained that I was doing the hard way and that I just needed to grab the new App. Once installed and connected, the app immediately prompted me to update the firmware, and it just happened. This is a massive improvement, especially since I never got the firmware upgraded before. I don’t feel this version is particularly intuitive, but progress has definitely been made.

Downloaded this as a companion to my 119 mini pro and it’s very easy to use. Was able to connect to the dashcam very easily and view the live feed as well as download captured videos directly to the app. Only trouble I had was CarPlay was interfering with the connection. Once I had turned Bluetooth off though, it worked perfectly.

Neue Firmware wird bei meine A199 Pro zuverlässig nicht erkannt. Zudem ist die deutsche Übersetzung weit entfernt von gut.
