## What is Violin Tuner?

Violin Tuner is a fast, accurate chromatic tuner built for violinists — from
first-year students to players tuning before a rehearsal.

Play a string and the tuner tells you the note, the exact frequency in hertz,
and how many cents you are sharp or flat. A large gauge with a violin bow
needle shows at a glance which way to turn the peg.

FEATURES

- Chromatic pitch detection — works on any note, not just the four open strings
- Cent-accurate readout with note name, octave and frequency in Hz
- Tap a peg to hear a clean reference tone for that string
- Piano reference screen for checking notes across four octaves
- Adjustable concert pitch from A4 = 415 Hz to 466 Hz for baroque tuning or
  playing with a fixed-pitch instrument
- Works completely offline — no account, no sign-up

1. Allow microphone access when prompted
2. Bow or pluck a single string
3. Turn the peg until the needle centres and the reading turns green
4. Use the fine tuners for the last few cents

PRIVACY

Audio is analysed on your device in real time. Nothing is recorded, saved or
sent anywhere. The app requires only microphone permission.
