## What is Violin Tuner?

This APP includes 1 position & full position pitch practice, metronome and precise tuning, three functions.
Simple interface, pico-position, noise filtering, stable pitch display, no need to set any time, open APP, when playing, automatically display the pitch on the corresponding position on the screen string, compare the correct position of the left-handed string Can effectively improve the sense of pitch, especially the poor sense of pitch and the learner who is not familiar with the position. Completely solved, when the left hand presses the string to change the position, there is no teacher to correct the pain of the pitch.

[1 position & full position pitch practice]
- Supports 24 sizes: A, bB, B, C, bD, D, bE, E, F, bG, G, bA, #f, g, #g, a, bb, b, c, #c , d, be, e, f
- Support A4 frequency adjustment: 428~452 frequency switching.
- Support background beat: set back on the metronome page.
- Support for recording playback: for the player to review the pitch problem during the performance.
- When playing, you can display the pitch, background beat and simultaneous recording. Help the player to calibrate the pitch and rhythm at the same time. Beginners may wish to play any C major Etude and feel the help.
- Use the full bitmap to instantly feedback whether the movement of the left hand in the string is in place, which can help the learner to better master, for example: 8 degree jump. It is also helpful for the practice of changing the handle.

[Precision tuning]
- Simply set the frequency above the screen and the middle of the tone, play, the tuning results instantly appear on the corresponding string position.
- Supports 26 tuning modes: Violin (15), Violin-Tenor (2), Viola and American-Folk [Cajun, Open G, Sawmill, Gee-dad, Open D, High Bass, Calico, Old-Timey D]
- Calibration tone: Click the empty string name button above the scale to give the corresponding reference tone.
- Support A4 frequency adjustment: 428~452 frequency switching. Use the upper left and right arrows on the screen.
- Scale: The upper scale of the screen, the center line is the empty string pitch position, and the green triangle arrow points to this, indicating that the tuning is accurate. The scale is 10 cents per grid. When the scale is out of range, the green triangle arrow becomes Dark gray. The difference between the scales will be displayed below the scale. The + sign indicates the height. Please adjust the string. Otherwise, the - sign indicates low. Please tighten the string.
- Display panel: Display similar sound names (white). When the pitch is correct, the sound name will turn green. When the tuning is correct, a green light will appear, and the lower LED will move accordingly, showing the high and low 10cents (quantization). More visual.

The noise is so loud that the app cannot be used properly. Using this app will likely ruin the iPhone's speaker soon. Has the developer given up on bug fixes or updates? Even after sending emails, there's no response or debugging. This app is currently causing crashes by attempting to bypass iOS's standard sound output system, which changed long ago, and directly control the device hardware (low-level audio). This occurs because the iPhone's high-performance microphone/speaker drivers are incompatible with the app's outdated audio engine, making it a compatibility flaw inherent to this old-fashioned app itself. Please update it. Or remove in-app purchase. 
And this app can't detect the pitch properly. It displays about 6-7hz higher than the correct pitch.

After purchasing all the in app offerings this app will only work properly (mostly) on a first generation iPad, but 1st position won’t let you change the key. The microphone on newer devices causes noise rendering the entire app usless. Tuning is half a semitone off on every note, whether fingered or open. This app has no support. Don’t waste your time and especially don’t waste your $$ on this app.

There is a loud popping static noise, which I cannot seem to get rid of. also I paid full price years ago for the application and now they keep wanting to charge me more money.
It used to be a really great tuning and and learning tool.
