## What is viRACE?

Join the viRACE community of over 200,000 athletes from 162 countries and participate in virtual races and challenges. Live updates about the intermediate results of you and your marked favorites and friends are delivered directly to your ears via headphones.

viRACE offers you:

- Participation in various virtual runs and challenges (timing and tracking via app): virtual runs, virtual cross-country skiing events and other sports.
- Live information on intermediate results and additional motivation provided by the organizers is delivered straight to your ears via headphones. All participants of a virtual run or challenge are listed on the details page of the different events and can be selected as favorites. This allows participants to keep up on progress of their friends. You can also compare yourself directly with your personal best time.

- Different challenges: with free choice of routes or with predefined routes
- Automatic sending of start number and diploma (for selected events)
- Regular raffle of prizes at different virtual runs and challenges
- AND participation also possible with GARMIN, POLAR, Fitbit, SUUNTO, WAHOO and Apple Watch. No need for tracking with the app
 
This is how it works:

Immediately after registering, you will be taken to the international event feed. From here you can register for virtual runs or challenges in just a few steps. These are either started at a predefined start time by all participants at the same time or the start time can be freely selected within a certain time window. Live updates via headphones keep you informed about the race (countdown to the start, remaining distance, intermediate positions, results of the marked favourites, ...) and motivate you to achieve your best performance. Timing, distance measurement, start and finish - everything is handled directly by the app.
 
For organizers:

We offer event organizers the ability to plan and run virtual events themselves. There are also numerous options for running charity events. Don't hesitate to contact us if you are interested.

viRACE uses Healthkit. The only purpose is to import Apple Watch activities (Distance, Time & Activity-Date) to viRACE to match for races.

Echte Bereicherung und Motivation 
Ich verwende die App allerdings nur ohne Kommentare. Die Kommentare der KI zum Stand weil du bist finde ich sehr gut. Aber die anderen Kommentare der Stars finde ich mehr als dämlich. Zumal sie sich auch bei jedem Rennen wiederholen und lustig sind die Kommentare auch nicht. Das nervt. Deshalb mein Tipp App ohne Ton benutzen du kannst zwischendurch immer wieder drauf schauen und dann weißt du wie weit du bist ganz herzlichen Dank für diese tolle Idee, sehr motivierend🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ich habe das erste Mal mit dieser App an einem virtuellen Lauf teilgenommen und bin positiv überrascht, wie reibungslos und gut alles funktioniert hat.
Von der Startvorbereitung, über die Ansagen während des Laufes, bis hin zum Zieleinlauf.

Meine anfängliche Begeisterung für die App hat sich nach einem Monat geändert.   Ohne etwas an den Einstellungen geändert zu haben zeichnet sie nichtmehr alles auf.  Da ich an „Kaiserslautern läuft zum Weltrekord“ teilnehme ist auch hier die Motivation geschwunden.   Man kann es zwar nachtragen lassen kommt sich jedoch wie ein Bittsteller vor. Ich würde die App nichtmehr weiter empfehlen.

Nutzen die App im Zuge des Weltrekordversuchs „Kaiserslautern läuft zum Weltrekord“. Leider werden die km in der App nach Start des Laufs nicht oder nur verzögert übertragen. Die Kopplung und Übertragung der km mit der Garmin oder mit Strava funktioniert auch nicht. Netterweise hat der Veranstalter angeboten, die km nachzutragen, wenn man einen Screenshot der Läufe per Mail schickt! Also schöne Idee, technische Umsetzung naja.

Leider ist die App total unübersichtlich, man weiß garnicht wie viel man jetzt wirklich gelaufen ist und es synchronisiert sehr schlecht.

Die App rechnet nicht richtig ich kann sie einfach nicht weiterempfehlen und wenn man es beklagt wird einem nicht richtig geholfen ☹️
Ich war anfangs total motiviert km für einen guten zweck zu sammeln aber entweder man rechnet es einfach nicht dazu oder man fliegt raus. 
2 Tage hintereinander km zu sammeln und sie nicht zu erhalten das zieht runter !!!

Kann mich ebenfalls nicht bei einem Team für den laminat depot Lauf anmelden. Sonst scheint vorerst alles zu funktionieren. Mal schauen, wie es mit dem Tracking funktioniert. Gut ist hier der Support schon aus der App heraus, was die notwendigen Einstellungen angeht.

Update. Auch nach einem weiteren Update der App ist keine Auswahl eines Teams möglich. Die Rezensionen interessieren hier scheinbar niemanden. Dadurch nur noch 3 Sterne. Und die Deinstallation.

Gerne würde ich mich bei der laminat Depot Challenge anmelden  , aber die teamauswahl ist nicht möglich , da beim Click auf das Team nur die Auswahl des Feldes darunter erscheint (Geburtsjahr) dieser Fehler tritt auch zum Beispiel in den Profileinstellungen auf . Es scheinen in allen Feldern immer nur die  Auswahlmöglichkeiten der untersten Felder auszuwählen zu sein . 

Schade , bitte  nachbessern , sonst laufen alle nur für das erste Team …
