A lot of fun to play! If I had two requests, it would be to have a longer sequencer and to have longer release envelopes(20 seconds might be enough for some, but I like to make chill out meditative drones, and I would love to see release envelopes up to 60 seconds. Maybe in a future synth you make? Pretty please?) Still, a fantastic synth, so great job to the developer, thanks for your amazing work! Love it!!! ### 4/5 — Viral keyboard *2026-02-09, version 1.2.1* The sounds are nice After 10 minutes of navigation I am wondering if it is capable of doing midi .. if so then yes I would give it 5 stars ### 4/5 — Great app with some bugs *2026-01-28* Apps really solid for the price but I’ve noticed an issue while using midi with the app. Sending panic audio stop commands (for me it’s just double tapping the stop button on my controller) causes the app to reset to the default patch that’s loaded when you first boot, ignoring prog change CCs that are in effect. Other than that I’ve had little to no problems with the app that can’t be explained by the fact that I’m using an iPhone 12 mini, stuff like ui cutting off at the notch and some of the ui elements not being super responsive to touch (reverb and delay button take a few tries to trigger for some reason.) ### 5/5 — Great Plugin *2026-01-18* Quite good sounds, fantastic value-for-money. It must have samples or they used a ‘mammoth’ high level (read big, fat with with wasteful code) code in modules or something. A synth only uses like 30mb-70mb. 333mb there is something going on. I don’t have room for it on my cell phone.—- Just reading through everything on the App Store, I about wet myself with excitement. A ‘no brainer’ buy in my book. Right out of the virtual box, all default settings and preset. Hit HOLD and slowly put in 4 note’s playing on their harmonics and we’re off and running! Sound creation heaven with a pattern. Both a musicians and a ‘tinkerer’s ‘delight. It’s all right here. No need to go farther. ### 5/5 — A really great synth for my iPad *2025-12-15* I mainly use a lot of hardware synths, and the iPad is a kind of expander for me. In this use case, the Viral is a perfect addition to my setup. The sound is astonishingly dense, lush, and versatile, and of very high quality.
