Why can’t you have a service that works? ### 1/5 — Update to useless *2026-08-03, version 3.9.0* Who updates an app to reduce functionality - Virgin Money! It used to be a bit clunky at times but largely worked reasonably well until the latest update at the end of July 2026 when without warning all landscape functionality disappeared making it totally useless to this iPad pro user. Took it up with support & no redress not even a phone no. to complain to. Had to phone helpdesk, managed to speak to a competent human, but their answere was to reinstall app and try again… this got me further, and after a further round of password resets (maybe I was awakening a long forgotten identity of mine) I got access. App seems ‘right, so far. Registration was a pain! ### 1/5 — Imagine not being able to login to check your balance for over a month *2026-07-28, version 3.9.0* Virgin has no online banking website and tells you to use the app. The app doesn’t let you login, and constantly states “something’s gone wrong - we have had a problem at our end”. 100s of reviews saying the same thing and they refuse to believe there’s a systemic problem with the app and instead want each user to spend hours on the phone to support. I am closing my account. Edit in response to developer response: My WiFi and/or signal has not been poor for over a month. What a ridiculous statement. I am also not deleting every single other app on my phone prior to accessing my credit card app - are you being serious? And yes, it’s been paid off and the account closed.
