The Virginia EMS Office of EMS presents the first mobile app for EMS providers in the Commonwealth to offer comprehensive access to the Virginia EMS Portal. The app houses access to a digital certification card, real-time continuing education report, agency affiliations, and various other functions related to the providers role in our system (e.g. Education Coordinators can access various functions pertaining to their role as educators.) Additionally, the OEMS app still provides access to the annual Virginia EMS Symposium, a feature which is highly valued at one of the largest and most comprehensive EMS training events in the country! Useless. ### 2/5 — Poor App *2024-02-22, version 4.0* The log in from the IPhone app has issues. Won’t let me use the keyboard to enter my user ID but will let me enter my password. Problem, it’s not the right ID and I can’t change the ID. The online, not mobile site works ok. This app looks great on other peoples phones. So 1 star for existing and 1 star for looking good on other peoples mobile devices. No stars for my device. ### 3/5 — Log in page needs work *2023-08-22, version 3.0* The app won’t let you change your login ID. So if you mistakenly put the “b” in front or just type it wrong you have to delete the app a re-download. That means you also can’t log into more than one account on the same device. There is no facial recognition that I e found, so I still have to copy and paste my password from somewhere else in my phone (since the password is such a nightmare). I am excited to have this option to replace my paper card when scanning for CEUs. ### 1/5 — Log in page needs work *2023-08-21* I cant log in. I’ve tried my number with the “b” and without. I can log into the state website but not to the app. Worse, the app won’t let you change your login ID. So each time I want to try something different I have to delete the app a re-download.
