So a piece you worked hard to learn still feels like yours months later. Connect your digital piano and every note you play is marked right on the score. Virtu remembers where you got stuck, so the next time you open the app, those bars are ready to practice. On the score, as you play Wrong notes, rushed or dragging beats, and notes released too early show up right where they happened. Virtu waits at a fermata and follows a ritardando, so musical breathing is never marked as a timing mistake. Clear feedback after every take See the wrong, missed, and hesitated notes in each bar, and replay that bar right away. Virtu highlights the single most important thing to listen for on your next try, so you can improve step by step. Today's passages, ready when you sit down Open the app to find today's passages and a tailored way to practice them: slower, in short chunks, or hands separately depending on what went wrong. Once a passage settles, you check it again at its original tempo. You can always pick any piece and passage yourself. Keep the repertoire you've built Just as a finished piece starts to fade, Virtu brings it back for a light review. Learn several pieces at once without losing track of where you are in each one. Piece exams and your Virtu Level When every passage of a piece is solid, play it from start to finish as a piece exam. Passed pieces build your Virtu Level, helping you discover matching repertoire in Explore. Score views built for the keyboard The system you're playing stays near the top of the screen, so you never have to stop to turn a page. Annotate in pen or text, show or hide printed fingering, and assign a piano key to "retry" or "next" so your hands stay on the keyboard. Pieces to play Preview and download scores in Explore, or import your own MusicXML and MXL files. Built-in practice tools Includes a metronome with subdivisions, accents, and gradual speed-ups, plus a tuner, recorder, ear training, and practice reminders. Core practice works offline, too. Daily passage recommendations, live score markings, post-take analysis, repertoire reviews, piece exams, and practice tools are all free, with no ads. Virtu Plus An optional subscription adds: • Plus-only scores: download the pieces only Plus members can get, too. • Performance review: find the mistakes you keep making in the same place, with dynamics and pedal drawn under the score. • Practice variations: when a fast run comes out uneven, smooth it out seven ways, from dotted rhythms to shifting accents. • Compare practice methods: try two methods in turn, and Virtu tells you which one works better for you. • Formal assessment: play one piece start to finish to find your piano grade and Virtu Level. • Automatic tempo: each pass bumps the tempo up a step, so you climb to your goal speed one notch at a time. • Cloud backup: switch devices or reinstall, and your scores, practice history, and recordings pick up where you left off. • Play with Virtu's sound: even a MIDI keyboard without speakers plays with Virtu's piano sound. • Pomodoro timer: focus and break reminders keep you practicing longer without wearing out. Prices and subscription terms are shown in the app before you buy. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store account settings. Before you start • Sign in with an account to use Virtu. • Live score markings and performance analysis require a MIDI-connected digital piano or keyboard.
