I have recently discovered a few glitches that are a bit annoying... First, when you earn gems, you get a choice to triple it by watching a video. Unfortunately, it triples the gem value then adds it to the coin value! Please fix this! Another thing, is that when you buy an item, it doesn’t show up in your inventory? So my inventory is always empty, even though I have bought many items! However it uses a lot of real money for coins and gems, if you play the games to earn them, you get max 30 at a time! I am just so attached to my pup. ### 4/5 — Some suggestions? :) *2020-02-28* I do love the game, I just got a new egg and the evolution time is a little crazy... it would be cool if you could go into the pixbook and select a pet to take care of while the egg is hatching or evolution is occurring... and there could be an option for “my eggs” and you can go and see if they’re ready or not. Then you tap, go back to your pix game, and hatch the egg :) Being able to access my past pix pets would be really nice (not sure if that’s a feature or not because this is the first time I replaced a pix with an egg). More mini games would be fun as well! I love the memory one, but I always lose so quickly.. it would be interesting if you could actually win the foods that you matched. I know it’s a small game, but it would be fun to have an accessories option, too. Maybe you can win more than coins from games. Maybe you can win an accessory, or some of the more pricy foods, or even in some cases, something for a room. Some fun game options would be tic-tac-toe, checkers, or a dice rolling game where you get a certain amount of rolls, and you get coins depending on the number it lands on. I still love the game, and it’s a cute and fun distraction. I feel like this app is more of watching ads than playing the game. I play this game daily, it’s actually the only game i play. But sadly, you can’t do much without watching ads, and every time i see my pix, it’s sick. I think this game could be much more than it currently is. Adding more mini games for earning money (more than 30 coins. Maybe around 75 for all the mini games) could really improve the app, as well as making it easier for the players to get gems. Making it harder for a pix to get sick would help a lot as well. I cant wake up in the middle of the night to play a game. And i dont think anyone else will either. so maybe making the pix sick after 24 hours of not playing the game instead of 3 hours or whatever it is now could be more beneficial to the players. I understand that theres a lot of work that has been put into this app but sadly i dont think its enough. I hope you guys take this advice well and decide to work on this game more. I love the idea. I loved tamagotchi and virtual pets. I love the idea of a widget pet. I love the design, so so so cute, but the app itself needs lots of work. The two mini games are one of the only way to get coins (other than paying for them) and they’re not very engaging. I’ve never won the matching game once, I always die. The walking game I only play like once because it’s uninteresting and at most I only get like 30 coins. It takes a lot of effort to even get 100 coins and most things to purchase are over 1000. I spent most of the time on this app watching ads for more coins. Sometimes the ads don’t even load. Also every time I check on my pix it’s sick and I need to heal it. Healing requires coins or ads. The only way to evolve the pix is to feed it and feeding requires more coins. There needs to be a better way to make coins without just watching ads and or paying actual money. I’d love to continue playing with this pix and updating the rooms, but I’m not interested in healing it over and over again. I wanted this to be something to mess around with while I was bored at work or somewhere else but it only ends up taking a couple minutes of my time unless I want to watch adds. Good concepts, needs more improvements. Will check back for updates and hopefully change my review in the future. ### 2/5 — Interesting idea, some suggestions *2018-09-05* I really love the idea of this game, like the fact you can just pull up your cute little pet whenever you want and don’t need an internet connection. It’s also not very hard to care for. I do have some reports and suggestions, though. This has been happening more frequently, but sometimes my widget will abruptly stop working and just say “Unable to Load” I’m actually writing this review while this is happening, and it’s been like this for at least 8 hours. I don’t want to uninstall and install again, as I’ve gotten quite far. Also, sometimes the screen will freeze and I can’t fix it. It usually just fixes itself... A couple suggestions. I would like a new mini game. I know, the way I phrased it sounds greedy, but the two we have are just kind of... meh. There’s only two, as well, and they’re not very fun after the first couple times. You can choose to ignore this one, but I’ve gotten a bit frustrated with the memory game. Can we at least have three lives or a video for a second chance? I mean, come on, you never actually know if you’ll die or not. It’s completely random. It’s gotten to the point where every time I click a card I just have to hold my phone as far away from me as possible and wince until I know it’s safe. That’s all for now, but currently, I’d say it’s a decent game. It’s also not a battery devourer. But after a few weeks of playing I'm getting really tired of how stressful this game has become for me! It notifies me CONSTANTLY that my Pix needs something (4 notifications to wake you at 3am, anyone?) And it just turns into me playing one ad after another (if it even loads!) to play the same two games until my Pix is tired and then I put it to bed and essentially wait until it demands something again. I don't get any enjoyment from the pet anymore as it just constantly requires me to watch ads and complains at me all day. If it gave a little more feedback, I'd be more inclined to put in some effort. But for now, it's just something that constantly requires my attention with no payoff except for the person making money off the ads. Maybe more games or something that makes the pet more interactive? It feels like Sims except all you do is replenish their needs by watching ads. TLDR: Cute for a bit, but no fun anymore and downright stressful trying to keep up with the thing; a waste of my time to watch so many ads for a simple check-in on my pet.
