Runners - Imagine being able to walk out of your front door and participate in a road race with other runners.  With Virtual Road Race, you can race other runners from anywhere in the world as if they were running right beside you.  The app provides race updates through your headphones as you run.  All of the fun and competition of an actual 5K or marathon race but without the hassle!  Race Results Posted Online at www.virtualroadrace.com!

Love this app!  It makes me want to get out and run when I'm not in the mood, don't want to be last.  I'd love to be able to pick a distance.

This app is new & still being tweaked but it's great!! I used it with a running buddy & had a great 5K workout. There aren't many 5K's in our area. I really like having the opportunity to to run them, with other runners, more often. The app tells your distance, pace & where you are compared to other runners (from around the country/world!!). Once the race is over you can see your finish results on the website. It's unique, innovative & can be used both as a 5K race or a training run. Download it & go for a run!!

Tried this app on opening day. Worked great they had irish music playing, starter voice  came on and counted down to start time then start horn blew. Off you go Just think you will be running on your own course against runners from all over the country or the world. You could someday have a million people running and you could be in from the beginning. So spead the word a lot of runners own iphones. This is agreat idea. I love it.
