I woke up to 27 villagers! Beyond what is supposedly possible. ☺️ However, I have not been able to complete all the puzzles because they all died or are to old to have babies now. Have 3 puzzles to finish. These games should all be free in my opinion. This one I have played for many years and have yet to finish all the puzzles. ☹️ And yes I could get it for the $.99 but why? ### 3/5 — TECH POINTS!?!? *2025-01-27, version 1.3.2* Now…yall know yall wrong for making some of these tiers on this game an absurd amount in order to unblock the next level. 180,000 tech points for level 3 farming??? 32,000 just to be able to accumulate more tech points? But playing the lite version is limiting as I can only have 8 villagers. There is also a puzzle where you have to have 3 master builders. Which I got done after restarting the game 4 times, and trying different tactics. Also builder will not gain skill if there is nothing to build, so that was annoying. Overall I like the game but having 8 villagers hard but possible (I guess I’m just to cheap to buy the full version) ### 4/5 — The game is still fun, but the tech prices doubled *2018-04-15, version 1.3.2* The game is still fun, but after the iOS 10 update, the tech prices (except for Level 2 Farming) doubled. For example, Level 3 Farming, which used to cost 90,000 tech points, now costs 180,000 tech points. But then the population keeps growing on its own? When I come back to the game there's like 3 more children than before. And the only villager that could make children died and now I have to wait until the population goes back down so I can force more children. This is tricky because the youngest villager would be like 40 or 50 years old and can't make children. One you have fully researched it, take a Master Scientist to the pond and the will catch algae eating fish. Hope this helps. It really makes the experience of the game a lot less fun. I can't figure out how to get rid of it and I can't figure out how to reach the coconuts. Its so unfair to keep playing when in the end you wont be able to complete all the puzzles! PLEASE FIX THIS, MAKE THE POPULATION LIMIT TO 15. ### 1/5 — Impossible *2016-09-02, version 1.1.3* This game is not "hard", but it seems that it is impossible to complete. Due to the algae that spreads far too quickly for anybody to have created a sustainable food source, paired with the life sustaining fire extinguishing itself in less than 10 hours, you cannot get far in this game before all of your 7 measly villagers (only 3 of which can work at first) perish. Worse, the speed and difficulty options do not function at all. I kept 2 villagers alive after the algae spread and coconuts deflected by creating a child, making them survive solely off of collectible mushrooms, then making the adults build the dam to make a farm. After hours of checking on them every few minutes, they survived this, had reliable food, and had another child. A 7 hour break to sleep later, and they had all died because you cannot rebuild the fire at any time, only wait for it to burn out, which seems to instantly murder your villagers. I am practically an expert at these games. Every day when I know I won't be on my phone for a few hours I pause my game. Today I went to unpause it and my whole tribe was dead. When you pause the game the villagers should not move. They should not thrive for the needs when they are paused such as food or water. Pause means NO MOVEMENT AND NO PROGRESS IN A GAME. The children should not get older and none of them should die. Also regarding the food I think you should have two ways to get food in the begging because after a few hours the ocean is full of algae and cannot be used. A little frustrating because of the limited population size. But that just makes it a bit more challenging. I’ll take that over needing to pay. There’s a great wiki for puzzle solutions, and I adore how you aren’t punished for all your villagers dying. You just get new ones, and they keep the tech points, food, and upgrades you had. It’s a wonderful game. Making an elder is hard, cause you can’t use the breeding trick, but with an event for either instant master doctor or builder, you can level up farming and research pretty quick, and get an elder.
