I use m1max MacBook. Please just add a joystick so you could navigate without actually having to walk and it will be absolutely perfect! **Developer response:** Thanks Tyler, the joysticks will come in the pro tier very soon :) ### 2/5 — Honestly not the same as the old app *2026-06-23* If you disconnected by swiping off the screen or just by lagging off which happens way more than on the old one , you wouldn't be able to get back in unless you refreshed the app and blender scene and rescanned it also dosent have movement inplamented into the camera it's only like 360 turn around and up and down but you can move forward or back or side to side with your phone like the old app the app is extremely laggy **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience. Just as in v1 you can reconnect using the bookmark to avoid having to scan the QR again. Regarding movement tracking, it's supported as well, but probably need to adjust the scene scale in Settings (or with the scale slider) to match your Blender scene, same as in v1. As for the lag, that can sometimes happen with very heavy scenes, but we haven’t seen it reported as a common issue. I used to have to bring my scenes from cinema 4D into blender just because the plug-in only worked there but now that there’s also a new version for 4D I really couldn’t ask for anything More. Ability to just quickly connect my iPhone to my cinema for scene and watch back my animation in real time as I animate the camera is just an incredible ability to have that I couldn’t even imagine being a thing even a few years ago! Would highly recommend this plug-in anyone needing naturalistic camera movement in their scenes ### 4/5 — Works in blender on Mac, windows still broken *2026-05-07* Fantastic tool! I enjoyed version 1 in blender and have been awaiting the sequel to this app for years. They included the ability to navigate frames one by one, and the interface as a whole is very simple and easy to use. The windows blender plugin is currently not working in 5.1 (or even earlier versions), but I’m sure they will be resolved soon. For now I’ve tested the app on a Mac and it works just fine after granting permissions for screen recording and device discovery. I hope in time they add the ability to assign custom buttons on the phone interface that talk to the plugin, enabling execution of custom python scripts.
