### 1.2.1 — 2023-12-06

New Features
- The Quest Log is here! As you progress through the virtues, each day's call to action is now summarized as a quest. Each quest consists of one or several tasks that you can tick off like an item on a to-do list once you're done. Quests never expire so after accepting a quest, you can find it in your Quest Log - it's up to you to work on it right away or next week! You access the Quest Log by tapping the Quest Log icon from the main screen - it's in the top left of the navigation bar and looks a bit like a scroll. To get you started, Mungo the squirrel has some special quests for you immediately available after updating so check it out! 
- Some Quests come with special tasks that invite you to journal or meditate. They are automatically marked as complete once you complete the respective action. Your notes and journal entries are saved for future reference, of course!
- For meditation tasks, there is now a special view with a built-in meditation timer and some relaxing music to help you meditate. Again, this view is directly accessed from the respective task via the Quest Log!
- Know your progress - the Journey Status screen is now available (accessed by tapping the person icon right next to the Quest Log).  Your Journey Status keeps track of your overall level and the level for each Virtue. You level up Virtues via the EXP you receive from turning in completed quests; just tap the star icon right next to a virtue once you have earned some EXP for this virtue. Each virtue level-up allows you to increase your overall level, provided you have collected sufficient acorn funds. 
- As always, I've again improved the writing for the guides to make them clearer and (hopefully) more fun to read.
- This is a major update towards the Gamification of the app. I hope it makes using Virtue Quest more fun and motivating to keep improving yourself. If you want to share your thoughts and feedback, I am always eager to hear from you: martin@martinboehm.net

- Fixed a bug where the next guide would only unlock after more than 24h have passed; now it becomes available as soon as the new day starts, i.e. just after midnight.

Mungo the Squirrel talks in a funnier and livelier tone, and the instructions are more detailed. I've rewritten and updated all guides for the following Virtues: Order, Resolution, Frugality, Industry, Sincerity, Justice, Moderation, Cleanliness. You'll receive the updates guides automatically after applying this update. Note that you can also access the updated guides via the instructions archive.
