## What is Virtuoso Classical Music Guide?

Your shortcut to knowing Bach from Beethoven, Baroque from Romantic — and everything you wish you'd learned in school.

Classical music isn't boring. You just never had the right intro.

Virtuoso is a learning app that helps you find your way around classical music. From medieval chant to Debussy, you'll see who came when, who wrote what, and why any of it matters. By the end, you'll know where the most famous masterpieces fit — and how to find your way to the rest.

Explore the history of classical music through short illustrated articles, written for micro-learning and built not to dump facts on you, but to give you an understanding of how it all evolved. Meet the great composers and the works that defined them — through the history and culture that produced them. Find out who changed what, why it mattered, and how it still shapes the music you hear today. Enjoy music quizzes that train your ear to tell Mozart from Bach or Beethoven, recognize Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and even pick Debussy from Satie. It feels like a game, works like education, and sounds like a concert.

Virtuoso works for everyone from 9 to 99 — and younger, if you're curious enough. Some want to start exploring classical music but don't know where. Others see it as part of cultural literacy and look for the right guide. Or just don't get the hype and want to form their own opinion.

You read, you listen, you play — and it all clicks.

Short articles and listening quizzes engage everyone. No theory. No sheet music. No music degree. A starting point, a guide, and someone telling you what you're hearing and why it matters.

What's inside:

- Three levels of listening quizzes, from famous melodies to deeper cuts. Train your ear to recognize the most important classical compositions of all time. The first level is free for everyone.

- A Brief History of Classical Music. The full story, told as one connected path. We tell the story — you get the map. Free for everyone — because the fundamentals shouldn't be behind a paywall.

- Additional articles on eras and composers. For those ready to dive deeper, beyond the basics.

- Advanced quizzes that test your knowledge of styles, fun facts, and connections between composers.

From "I know nothing" to "that's Debussy."

Start exploring with Virtuoso.

### 1/5 — good but…

*2024-11-02*

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Our app focuses on classical music to share and celebrate this genre with fans around the world. We understand that musical tastes vary, and pop music is a favorite for many. We’re always exploring ways to make our app even more enjoyable, so we appreciate your input

### 1/5 — Too short

*2024-09-22*

I completed the whole game in less than 5 minutes, and I just downloaded it. I didn’t learn anything except one composer I didn’t know of/listen to (Mahler). Can this be longer? Also add more Vivaldi than just 4 Seasons pleaseee???

### 1/5 — Music selection is far too small

*2024-08-01*

I paid for the full version and covered every song in about 10 mins. The selection of music is far too small.

### 4/5 — Fasts dev, improvements !

*2024-01-12*

The application développement team is very responsive, and fixed a bug on the application directly. For the app, it is fun and interesting. Point of attention : the prism of “what is classical” and the very limited amount of songs makes the app “with a short lifespan”. All of the songs from Your Lie In April classical songs playlists, Kassia, Rousseau on YouTube could be added. Some categories for “piano songs quizz” like Animenz, TheIshter, Pianopan, etc could be very fun, with rights from the author ! Anyway, have a good day everyone !

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! It's great to hear you're happy with our quick responses. Love your ideas about adding more variety to the app - we're on it. Your input really helps us improve. Have an awesome day too!

### 3/5 — Too short

*2023-12-23*

I went through this in about fifteen minutes. There are not enough levels. Don't buy it! Just duck it up and put up with the ads.

**Developer response:** Thank you for trying our app and sharing your thoughts. We're sorry to hear that the current number of levels didn't meet your expectations. We're working to add more levels and improve the app. Please stay tuned for future updates.

### 3/5 — Still see adds

*2023-12-09*

…. despite paying for an ac feee experience. Otherwise the App is great to learn about classical music.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for the inconvenience with the ads. Please email us at info@nerdish.io, and we’ll promptly address this issue. We’re glad you enjoy our app otherwise and appreciate your support!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2023-11-24*

Just wish it wasn’t against the clock so you can listen to all the wonderful clips being played!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review and the cool suggestion! We’re really glad you like the app. A mode without the clock sounds like a neat idea. We’ll definitely think about adding it in.
