## What is Virtuthon?

Hi! My name is Adrit Rao. I am 13 years old and a WWDC 2020 Swift Student Challenge Winner. This is my 3rd app on the App Store. Virtuthon is an app that will enable users to participate in group walkathons and marathons no matter where they are. The group leader can create a group and then later share the group code enabling other participants to join. Everybody in the group can view each others step count and stay motivated. When the group leader creates a group the can choose a start date and an end date of their walkathon/marathon. Virtuthon does not utilize HealthKit or CareKit, instead it utilizes the iPhone's accelerometer/activity and fitness data. Steps and other data will only be collected and stored if the walkathon has started. There is also an additional chat feature that lets users in a group talk with each other. I hope you enjoy!
