It also logs you out constantly which becomes a pain when you have to type in your password each time because Face ID gets auto-disabled. ### 3/5 — Crashes with bogus error message. *2026-08-12, version 2.0.7* The app now says my iPhone is “jailbroken” and then closes itself. My iPhone is NOT jailbroken. I would never do that, assuming I even knew how to do that. Now I can’t use the app for the perks my Visa card offers because this app is broken. Whoever wrote this app belongs in jail! Hahaha! Please fix this broken app ASAP. ### 2/5 — Login procedure - a glimpse of hope *2026-08-03, version 2.0.7* As most of the others users I vas victim of the horrendous login procedure. But try this little trick. When logged into the application do not exit it by closing the application or clicking exit button on the phone. Instead go to the Account menu and click Log out. Next time when you start, login procedure will be much more user friendly. At least that’s the case on my iPhone. It amazes me how this application suddenly scores 4.8 with so many bad reviews after scoring around 1 for years. And it’s funny - five stars reviews are one liners like “Great application.”, while one star reviews are lengthy descriptions or usage problems. Tried the forgot password and never got the verification code. Contacted support and got your standard email with instructions, which I had already went through each step without any success. Face ID doesn’t work too. Por favor, tente novamente mais tarde.” É difícil acreditar que empresas do porte da Visa e da XP ofereçam uma experiência tão ruim aos seus clientes. Quando o serviço falha e o canal de suporte também não funciona, o consumidor fica sem qualquer alternativa para resolver o problema. Extremamente decepcionante. ### 1/5 — RBC Visa Companion Almost useless *2026-06-03, version 2.0.6* Tried to use Visa Airport Companion on three occasions with no luck. Miami had restricted hours from 2pm to 10pm!! Vancouver was the most Mickey Mouse lounge with no availability. Third airport had no lounge with that option. I don’t see any value with the RBC add on for Private Banking .
