### 2/5 — Open enewspaper

*2025-05-17*

Very poor application to choose how you want paper to open. I want to open in newspaper form and can not find an option in settings to do that. Also difficult to find prior editions of Visalia Times Delta

### 3/5 — Nice Hometown Paper

*2022-05-31*

I look forward to local stories and news, although I sometimes wonder if more isn’t happening.

### 2/5 — Horrible to share

*2020-05-17*

We are supposed to be able to share this app w family. Doesn’t work on my wife’s phone but works for me.
All attempts to get help don’t work. I think they use Covid as an excuse to rip us off.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t update

*2019-06-23*

App Doesn’t refresh. Even when an alert comes across my locked screen, I open app and it shows articles from days ago. I pull down on the screen to refresh and it still shows old stories.

### 4/5 — Good Local News

*2019-06-22*

The Times-Delta continues to offer coverage of local events. The digital version allows me to view articles that I may have otherwise missed.

### 3/5 — Updates needed

*2018-12-27*

I recommend the following improvements:

Show the date of each article in article listings and in the byline of each article. This lacking appears to be intentional and is just plain sloppy and misleading reporting.

Include a way to read the newspaper issue by issue and page by page. I can’t easily read “today’s” paper.

### 3/5 — No comic strips on the electronic version

*2018-08-20*

I cancelled the print version of VTD after repeatedly no receiving the newspaper. I still get debited from bank account $28 a month. So we decided to get e-version a try. The good thing about it is the local news can be tracked back to old news. The bad news is there are no comic strips included in the e-version which I have enjoyed for many years. Also, most advertisements on the print-version are not included. I guess the advertisers have to pay more to appear on both versions. Anyhow, we do miss the print-version.

### 1/5 — Ridiculous!!!

*2018-01-11*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — The Entire Paper Bites

*2025-08-01*

The VTD has progressively gone down hill. It rarely covers local news but simply copies and pastes from the AP. We rarely see stories about Visalia in the local section, more likely to see Tulare, Porterville, or even larger metro areas out of our county. The paper in total is almost always less than 10 pages. The VTD and TAR should just combine because they are nearly the same print each day. Paying extra for access to digital print gets you 4 day old stories at best. VTD decided to take Labor Day off and not tell anyone, now their phone and computer lines are lit. After being kicked from online feedback and finally getting through via phone, the recording said we’d get a Sunday paper that never showed, then it claimed “technical difficulties” so I will have to waste more time once again about missed deliveries. This is not the first but rather one of many times of having to play games to try to get refunds for missed deliveries. The extremely sad part is that after putting in the time to reach the VTD, the refunds are never issued. Such a sickening waste, the whole paper, but it is the only paper in town really so the VTD laughs at us all the way to the back. There is a name for people that run companies like that but I don’t want my review kicked out for foul language.

### 1/5 — Junk

### 1/5 — Subscription

*2021-02-25*

App says $3 for 3 months, but after one month it wants to charge $9.99.

### 1/5 — Wow, it’s not worth a penny!!!

*2021-01-21*

Let me just start with the spelling and grammar...do you read it before you submit it? No, you don’t!! Your professors would be appalled!!! Wait, did you graduate high school? College? Did you major in journalism? I see maybe one or two new stories on the app, yet the paper has tons of articles. Everything is hush hush, can’t leak anything it may be a secret to Area 51!!! Stop posting everything about the Rona virus!!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-02-09*

Front page has been stuck on same story for 3 months

### 1/5 — Times Delta App

*2020-01-22*

Frustrating is the best I can say. I have an electronic subscription but I cannot sign in. I just get a blank screen.

### 5/5 — Great local news

*2025-05-19*

I take both the VTD and the Bee. VTD has all of the great local news the Bee does not plus national. Basically I enjoy the comics in the Bee. That is the main reason I still take it
