### 2/5 — Recent update

*2026-08-30, version 26.8.1*

Since recent update I no longer have my colour code monthly maps. Previously it was much easier to view monthly trend on the monthly view. Now the month does not show the coloured circles ☹️☹️

### 4/5 — Good but could add some things

*2026-08-29, version 26.8.1*

It’s really good I just wish it would show me what my highest and lowest heart rate was for the day. And that it notified me when my heart rate got too low rather than just when it got too high.

### 4/5 — Love Visible! Being patient with working out the kinks.

*2026-08-27, version 26.8.1*

I’m not a fan of trackers or watches as they usually stress me out. However, I love how visible has helped me to be able to alert me when I’m going over my exertions budget. I’ve been able to show my family what my body is going through and how it aligns with my symptoms so I won’t gas light myself. I know it is new and it will take a while to work out some kinks and add new features. I hadn’t had a true POTS episode since I started wearing the visible band but I realized after I had an episode at work that my band was at 4% even though I had it on the charger the night before so it missed my episode to capture my heart rate and pace points. I was really bummed because I never got a notification to let me know the batter level was low or I somehow missed it. I get notifications throughout the day that my band has been disconnected during times I really need it to track. I can’t get the band any tighter to make contact and my battery is at l almost full charge. Im also hoping we can get an actual screen/watch feature so it can be multi use and see our HR on the watch as well. I’m excited to see what the new overnight feature does! I have a lot of issues at night as well. I had to buy a Visible compatible silicon band due to the scratchiness of the original band.
Thank you Visible members for making something that works for chronic illness and specifically POTS!

### 5/5 — Life changing

*2026-08-12, version 26.8.1*

At 72, had MECFS for 33 years. I’m so glad I finally decided to try Visible band. Seeing actual data in so many areas helps me make informed decisions about “what can I do today?” It has always been like shooting in the dark but I’ve only had this several weeks and am able to have better days now based on my readings. I feel like my data is very accurate and backed by scientific studies. Of course, wish I had tried it sooner!

### 5/5 — Visible

*2026-08-12, version 26.8.1*

It has been a dream when it comes to managing my CFS!

### 5/5 — Finally something that can help me…

*2026-08-11, version 26.7.3*

The data and trends I get from this wearable app is amazing and extremely helpful. I appreciate the research and dedication it clearly took to provide quality insights and metrics for our bodies. I have Long Covid, hEDS, and other limiting factors; this app has helped me greatly in planning how I’m apple to expend myself during the day.

### 5/5 — building in time for checking in with myself with chronic illness

*2026-08-11, version 26.7.3*

I used the free version of this app for well over a year and then recently purchased the arm band/wrist band. I really appreciate the ability to customize symptom tracking while also logging impacts that may affect my symptoms, such as exertion or custom daily impacts.

I have used multiple other trackers before, and even ones specific for chronic illness, but this one is my favorite.

I will also say that the team does a great job soliciting feedback and making updates.

### 5/5 — Love it more than I thought I would

*2026-08-10, version 26.7.3*

I’m surprised by how helpful the data I’ve gathered with this is. It’s helped me pace myself and make good energy-use decisions. It’s a relief to have a tracker that tells me I should be resting rather than one that yells at me for not getting enough steps.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2026-08-10, version 26.7.3*

I love everything that this band does for me. Helps me to keep track of my heart rate and to slow down when I’m doing too much.
I have Long Covid, fibromyalgia and CFS. It really helps so much. I was debating buying it for ages due to not just the band price but the subscription price but now I’m really happy I did. Highly recommend to anyone

### 4/5 — So helpful for PEM and POTS

*2026-08-09, version 26.7.3*

I have tried so many fitness trackers to help heal—Visible is so far superior. Not being compared to a healthy population is a huge psychological benefit. Having a constant HR measurement is also fantastic. I’m able to use notifications to let me know when I’m exerting too much, and I’m able to avoid PEM so much better. It makes such a difference having an app built for chronic illness instead of making do with fitness apps. Battery life on the strap is also great.

### 5/5 — great for SCI related injuries!

*2026-08-09, version 26.7.3*

I use this device and app 24/7. I have a spinal cord injury with partial paralysis (and many complications). This device is the OMLY tool to use to manage any type of long term recovery or serious chronic illness, including pain management.
It is a MUST HAVE - I also own an Aura ring and Hume band. They are NOT the same !

### 5/5 — Super helpful

*2026-08-08, version 26.7.3*

Such a helpful app showing what your body is challenged by in daily life. Finding it invaluable as I try and pace myself better both in ‘crash’ periods and on better days. Absolutely delighted that I was recommended it and so grateful for those who were inspired to develop it. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Shari Kimball, DNP

*2026-08-06, version 26.7.3*

I have found Visible extremely helpful in navigating my own chronic illness. It is giving me valuable insights that have helped me better manage my energy. I will be recommending it to my patient’s managing chronic illness.

### 4/5 — Great idea but inaccessible

*2026-08-05, version 26.7.3*

There are many with chronic illness that are low income or spend so much on health care, the cost of this apps monthly service plus the cost of the wearable really feels out of reach.
The app itself is great, it’s been a fantastic tool to help with pacing and predicting what my day might look like, I just wish the app would talk to my Apple Watch so I wouldn’t have to buy the visible band, and that there was a discount for the monthly service for people who can’t afford another $15 a month service.

### 5/5 — Pace points help me say no (and yes) without guilt

*2026-08-01, version 26.7.3*

One of the hardest things about chronic illness for me is the guilt. I feel guilty when I say no (to friends, family, even my dog when he wants to run around and play and I just can’t.) I also feel guilty about poor self-care when I say yes but I know I’ve already overdone it. Pace points help me quantify, externalize, and visualize amount of exertion in real time and shows me patterns. This helps me pace if I know I have something I want to say yes to later on, and it helps me set boundaries when I know I don’t have the capacity and need to say no to something. Additionally, the alerts when I enter “exertion” help me actively pace throughout the day and make better decisions so I don’t stay stuck in the crash cycle.

I feel like I just wrote an ad for this app, but that’s how much it has helped me! So many other good things to say about it.

### 5/5 — Visible is fantastic

*2026-07-30, version 26.7.2*

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Visible is fantastic! It has been a game changer for helping me understand my body. It clearly shows how even the smallest activities can affect my energy levels and heart rate.

The app keeps easy-to-read records of my heart rate, energy (spoons), and symptoms, making it simple to spot patterns and see what causes my heart rate to spike. Having clear, objective data has made it much easier to explain what’s happening to healthcare professionals instead of trying to remember or repeatedly describe everything.

If you’re trying to investigate your own symptoms or build evidence while searching for a diagnosis, Visible is an incredibly useful tool. It allows you to show doctors clear patterns and objective data, which can help support conversations during appointments.

If you live with a chronic illness, fatigue, POTS, dysautonomia, or another condition where pacing is important, I highly recommend Visible. It’s easy to use, insightful, and empowering

### 5/5 — Getting my life back

*2026-07-30, version 26.7.2*

This has been a fantastic resource for me, enabling me to learn how to pace so I can start doing the things I love again. It’s taken me years, but using Visible as a coach/mentor has meant I can now do my garden, bellringing and build back my running. It can’t magic away Long Covid, but it has helped me manage it. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Helpful tool

*2026-07-29, version 26.7.2*

This completely free app is a wonderful offering. Although as a Canadian user I’m not able to use the arm band, the morning check ins are an invaluable pacing tool. Very grateful for this app

### 5/5 — I am so much more comfortable with fewer hard crashes.

*2026-07-25, version 26.7.2*

This app has helped me to truly understand pacing.

Before, I was in a constant state of crashes and I couldn’t seem to understand “why” and how to prevent them.

I have learned what so called simple things were making me crash. Because of the level of my severity… I simply had no idea that feeding my cat or putting laundry in the machines were depleting my precious energy so much.

Having this type of feedback allowed me to make appropriate changes that wouldn’t deplete my energy. A rolling stool In the kitchen. And having my washer raised. I never would have thought about doing this to keep me from crashing.

I love having it remind me to rest when I don’t realize I’m over doing myself.

Thank you for helping my level of severity be able to enjoy parts of life again.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Works great until band disconnects and won’t reconnect

*2026-08-24, version 26.8.1*

Band hasn’t synced in 12 days, just keep being asked if I reset it or if I need someone to walk me through how to reset it. I’m sorry but it shouldn’t be this difficult to keep a monitor attached to the app. I now can’t even use the band or service I have spent my disability money on.

Upon speaking with ed- he only offered a refund when I have stated this saved my life earlier this month. They only offered someone to talk to you like you can’t read instructions, or a refund. So I am without now the monitor that was working the best for me.

Very disheartening

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with Apple Watch

*2026-07-21, version 26.7.2*

Doesn’t work with my existing equipment, I’m not buying another band or paying for a subscription. Waste of time and now I’ll have hundreds of spam
Emails for absolutely no help
For my disability at all.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with tattoos.

*2026-07-07, version 26.6.2*

I found out after purchasing the year app subscription and wrist band. They know it doesn’t work with tattoos but it’s not listed as a warning or incompatibility anywhere. They wouldn’t refund my app subscription fee or take back the wristband so I wasted a few hundred bucks. Seems like they should have some sort of a warning as many people these days have tattoos. Oh well. It may work for people without tattoos, I just felt like that was a little shady to have a known issue and not tell anyone and just to tell me “oh yeah sorry we knew about that.”

### 1/5 — Can’t export your heart rate data and it’s not available if you stop paying

*2026-06-20, version 26.6.1*

The only place you can correlate your daily HR is with other symptoms is limited to what tracking they provide in the app bc you can export HR data only daily summaries.

You also lose access to your HR data if you’re no longer paying for a membership. Which feels like they’re holding data hostage unless you keep paying.

It seems this is not complaint with UK’s GDPR (at least from the information I got from support chat within the app). This is not okay.

### 1/5 — Recent changes to a 4.00 am day start/finish

*2026-06-11*

Notified that late night people have been heard and that the day/night time is set for 4.00 am. This makes it difficult for others to record their markers and creates less accuracy across a broad range of data and statistical analysis. This should be alleviated by personalised options to capture shift workers/household schedules and behaviours and the needs of people needing to consistently monitor their health. Without these options compliance with regular data entry is significantly diminished and is therefore a shortcoming of this app. Other time/week starts/date and regularity settings are incorporated in apps and coding for this personalisation could and should be considered.

### 1/5 — Lack of accessible support

*2026-06-07, version 26.6.1*

Faults often and shows previous day’s results instead of allowing new check in and measures.

### 1/5 — No apple integration

*2026-05-22, version 26.5.2*

Would be better if it integrated with Apple watch and apple health instead of requiring an additional wearable, or, if they want subscribers maybe offer the wearable for free. I’m inclined to delete the app without apple integration. I hope the app developers change tack and consider integrating with Apple

### 1/5 — HR numbers too small to read

*2026-05-15, version 26.5.1*

Not usable for disabled ppl they made it for since the last update.

### 1/5 — Why buy another heart rate tracker?

*2026-04-26, version 26.4.2*

I do t understand why was can’t use existing bands like the Apple Watch.

### 1/5 — Data Collection Barrier

*2026-04-21, version 26.4.1*

I like this app for my chronic illness. Something that’s challenging (that won’t be a problem for everyone) is the app only collects data when the app is running in the background and your watch is within bluetooth range. As someone who swipes up apps out of habit and doesn’t want to have my phone on me all the time, it is disappointing to miss chunks of data. Otherwise, I have found Visible to be very helpful and user friendly.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Pacing I can see

*2026-08-31, version 26.8.1*

For over a decade, I have been struggling with balance. When I’m having a “good day” I want to do as much as possible to make up for the other days…knowing full well that I’ll end up sleeping for the next three days and still be exhausted for two more days after that. This helps me become aware and to limit how much I demand of my body. It alerts me to slow down and rest for a moment. I’ve only had this for about two weeks, but I haven’t had a three day crash out since I put it on. I still have slow days, but fewer and not fully laid out like a zombie on the couch. Life-changing for me!

### 5/5 — It helps

*2026-08-31, version 26.8.1*

I didn’t have high expectations for this as I didn’t think my heartbeat would say much about my pain, but if I stay within my budget it is decreased significantly and I have actually accomplished more

### 5/5 — Saved me from a crash!

*2026-08-24, version 26.8.1*

I haven’t even had this app a full week and it already detected a bad day was coming, the day it was here it told me to be careful which I did making the day after so much easier all round! Only downside is the price of the wrist band tracker but I’m sure it’ll be so worth it when I can afford to get it! App is so easy to use and very quick too.

### 5/5 — Great for pacing

*2026-08-24, version 26.8.1*

I have had less crashing out since getting the band. I do wish there was more information/ podcasts on chronic pain. I have CRPS and there is a large community of us that could be helped if there was more available with the band. Maybe also having pain scale in the morning and evening check-ins so that could be tracked without having to use several apps.

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2026-08-18, version 26.8.1*

I started using the free version not that long after getting long Covid a few years back. The free version is really useful in giving you morning stability score so you can at least get an idea of how out of balance you are and gauge how you need to pace. I started using the paid subscription with the polar 1 band but I did struggle to keep it charged. It was incredibly useful in that it shows you where you are exerting yourself or if your pulse is up. I’ve just upgraded to band 2.0 and find it easier for me to keep it charged and just trying the beta feature of using your overnight data for your stability score. This app has really helped me to pace better.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-16, version 26.8.1*

This is a great app if you have invisible disabilities!

### 5/5 — Life Saving - Literally

*2026-08-15, version 26.8.1*

Learning about this app and the program behind it changed the way the world looked for me in an instant.

Having transparency in my pocket suddenly made LIFE accessible in a way I thought was lost. I forgot what everyday participation in society felt like, or what the world looked like outside my sickroom. But now, it’s just outside my front door again.

Actually using the app legit saved my life, and reminded me that it was not only possible to learn how life could still be lived, but it gave me the chance to remember why it was worth living.

As long as it’s still free and easy to access HR HRV & PacePoint detail at the 15 min incremental view, for the full user history, then I’ll still be an avid ambassador. As of now, my advocacy is even unpaid, because it’s THAT much of a good thing!

If your heart feels funky sometimes, or if your vision ever gets dark on standing, you might want to consider getting this for yourself. Obviously if you’re like me and have ever been reduced to living life horizontally, you’re hopefully just waiting for yours to arrive.

It genuinely gave me life back, and made safe, incrementally progressive recovery* an option.

(Recovery ≠ remission, but sometimes it can happen together. This is not a cure for your long term condition(s), but it’s a tool for working WITH natural capacity limits instead of against them for the purposes of regaining mobility. Your mileage may vary.)

### 5/5 — Fatigue moderator

*2026-08-15, version 26.8.1*

This is a great tool if you have a new diagnosis and need help to manage your fatigue levels . It’s really helpful in educating me on my illness symptoms

### 5/5 — Really helps with pacing.

*2026-08-15, version 26.8.1*

I find this app and band great for helping me present crashes before they happen. I wish they came in different colours though 😊 xx

### 5/5 — Best symptom tracking app I’ve had

*2026-08-14, version 26.8.1*

10/10 app. Helps me as I struggle to get a diagnosis for my complex chronic illness and pacing. The people on the app and the podcast truly understand and it’s so nice to have a community that sees my pain and supports
