They are undo and revert. Also the current style should be highlighted. Also when I changed the effects on one sample, they didn’t go back normal for the next one, stayed the same so have to tweak. The ability to create painterly effects to your photos, especially after unlocking the in app purchase, is second to none. The depth feature, which uses an iPhone’s portrait mode depth data as an additional map, opens up new creative avenues. But the app stops there. There’s so much potential to explore, like being able to apply different degrees of painterly effects (or color or focus or brush direction) using the depth channel, but the app leaves this unexplored. A glaring limitation is that when zoomed in, you can’t scroll whatsoever. This is an amazing version 1.0. I want a refund. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2019-08-27* I downloaded the app and tried out a few pictures with faces and every image I put was horrifying. The lines were so dark and disgusting and it hurt my eyes it was so ugly. After reading some of the other reviews, I realized people were feeling about the same. Looking closer, I saw the developer responses to be hostile and defensive. One of the responses went something like, “You liked the app and only gave it three stars even though it’s free and has tons of features?” Come on, just because someone didn’t like your app doesn’t mean they have to be proved wrong and it’s “good enough because it’s a free app.” Just by seeing these responses, I was encouraged to write this review to spread to others that this app is overall terrible; from horrible photo-to-art filters, ugly designs, and rude staff, I would strongly advise people to stay away from this app. ### 1/5 — Does not find any photos *2018-12-16, version 1.0.2* Like many other iOS users, I’ve switched over to Google Photos for the increased free storage, better search, etc. This app seems to be married to the default iOS gallery because it cannot ‘find’ the thousands of photos on my phone. A few limited choices given create way too many strokes/lines in the face, as if it enhances and multiplies facial creases and distorts your nose, as do apparently even some of the paid selections based on the preview. If you put each filter on to your face and try them one at a time, you will see each one of them looks like you have a dried mud mask on to varying degrees. With the free features, even adjusting the intensity, etc., of some of them still doesn’t make for a very attractive picture by sny strerch and doesn’t help in that regard. If you’re looking for some still life or inanimate object pictures, you might fare a little bit better because those weren’t as bad as human faces. Because I can’t get a decent attractive human picture out of it even with the limited choices, with all of them having deep strokes you can’t soften, I would say paying to unlock all the other features may or may not have those same problems if there is such a heavy emphasis on crinkling the face. I don’t think humans look very good with crinkled faces. Since you have to pay before you can unlock them and there is no trial for you to even test it out first, do so at your own risk. **Developer response:** Note that all of the portrait images (images with faces) we advertise were in-fact created using the free functionality. Several of the free styles don't add any strokes at all. You can in-fact soften the "deep strokes" by changing the composite mode to perhaps Soft Light or lowering the style power. We are confident you can definitely get good results with faces and for free. You may never be able to predict the results, so you tend to focus (groan) on the results: Why do I like those waves there? Imagine that area bluer or more saturated. What would this look like if I apply Luminance and bleach it out?
