I found the site to be very helpful in planning for Norway so I had to try the app. I like the browsing by map feature and the sub categorization under each region. Some feedback: perhaps add a section that enables the user to explore visually based on stunning photos, and discover more hidden gems in Norway. A must if you are traveling in Norway. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No record of wheelchair access *2026-04-16, version 6.5.0* This has been on my phone for all of 10 minutes and once I have finished this review, it’s coming off again. It would take so little effort to have put a toggle switch somewhere in the filters for “wheelchair accessible” like apps such as TripAdvisor, Booking and Expedia do. I thought perhaps that information would be in the listings but it isn’t. There is no point at all me looking at locations which I cannot even gain access to. I am better off returning to somewhere like TripAdvisor and using their website instead. It’s a real shame. The Scandinavians are supposed to be better than the rest of Northern Europe for access, but who would ever know, when this is the official government app? ### 1/5 — Bummer *2025-03-22, version 6.2.1* Only loads the first 12 activities out of 89. ### 1/5 — C *2018-05-06, version 4.7.11* Confusing app Videos and photos would not load Its asking to activate notifications and share your location No way to copy or open place locations with Apple or google maps. ### 1/5 — Norway guide *2015-03-15, version 4.4.1* Tried to load this twice. It comes on with a full page of scenery. Then it goes to a half page with a black bar over part of the page. Seems to redirect to a web page by 'emediate' at which point it stalls. For example, if you want to discover the most important art museums in Oslo, and didn't already know there is an incomparable museum of Munch's work, you'd very likely miss it altogether, buried as it is among a jumble of miscellaneous venues. Or if you want to plan ahead, to discover what events will be on in two months, or even next month, the listings cover only a few days. ### 1/5 — Update broke it *2014-03-09, version 4.2* Crashes every time I open it. Back when it worked, it was good. But I wish you could narrow results by location and not have to select categories after "where to stay" ### 1/5 — Please be honest: fix issues with 3.1.3 or change requirements listing *2011-04-09, version 2.0* Several members of my family are looking forward to visiting Norway this summer and we thought this app looked like a great tool. Unfortunately, it quits on startup every time, never going past the picture of the Preikestolen. Consulting the support page on Facebook it is clear that users in Norway also have this problem, especially if, like us, they are using iOS 3.1.3. The developers are aware of this but can only recommend that we upgrade to iOS 4.x. This does not help, the devices my family uses are not upgradeable beyond iOS 3.1.3. If the developers wish to say that this app is only supported for iOS 4.x then they should change the listing to say so. If not, they should be clear that they are trying to find a fix for this in 2.0 and/or make version 1.0 available. ### 2/5 — Might as well use TripAdvisor *2024-04-28, version 6.2.1* As far as I can tell this is just TripAdvisor because everything is sourced from TripAdvisor, so might as well just use TripAdvisor. ### 2/5 — Disappointing *2014-07-12, version 4.2.2* Data needs organising better. Nowhere to filter for accessible locations only.
