Could this have been caused by new app upgrade? ### 3/5 — Sort Face ID *2025-04-09, version 2.28.3* Good app used for a few years simple enough but can’t clear alerts or open with Face ID please sort ### 4/5 — Crazy complicated *2024-08-30, version 2.24.4* Eventually got it to work with our alarm system, not easy. THEN they updated the app!! Since then it asks for passwords to even get into the app which took ages to set up and time consuming to use. Made a bit easier by setting up Touch ID. Can’t do the same on my husbands phone it won’t accept anything we put in. Our alarm supplier don’t seem to understand what is going on. All in all, useable if you can get round the technology but useless if you can’t. Update: engineer eventually came. Looked at control panel - last engineer hadn’t set the control panel right to use with app. Rectified but only with engineer giving me endless instructions. If I lose the app again I fear I will not get it to work. So good when it works but ITS NOT USER FRIENDLY TO SET UP. Oh my goodness when the alarm sounds on your phone it’s like WORLD WAR III ### 3/5 — FaceID only please *2024-01-05, version 2.24.4* I’ve been using this App for my home alarm for 2 months and it works well but it’s really annoying that I can’t just login with FaceID only. I still have to enter passcode which delays opening the App, especially when I’ve forgotten that I’ve put the alarm on and by the time it takes me to open the App, put the code, then Connect, I barely got time to disconnect it and a few times has gone off for 2-3 seconds. I just don’t get why if there is the option of FaceID, I still have to put the code (apparently “Fast login”). But the alarm is already disarmed. Surely it should say: ‘disarmed’. Touch the banner and it gives you three options: ‘away home disarm’. Why not: ‘arm home disarm’, or even: ‘set home unset’. It suggests it has been designed by somebody that has not got English as a first language. Also, the sequence on the alarm box is different to that on the app and on the key fob. ### 3/5 — Disappointing *2023-01-12, version 2.22* It’s not intuitive and uses jargon. A why not “arm” & “disarm”. What’s BBA? There should be a reference section with definitions and fault finder. When do we get updates? Needs a refresh. Full of spelling mistakes and bad English which make it difficult to understand. Yes it does the job - but I don't have a choice to use a better app for my alarm system. Unintuitive messy Home Screen. Why does it need face recognition AND a password?
