### 5/5 — So useful

*2024-09-18*

We use full blown AAC frequently but this is amazing when you want to quickly present two choices. It shows the word, a picture, and even an animation mouthing the word as the word plays.

### 5/5 — First Time User

So far I have loved this app. Easy and on the go way to make visuals for my students!!!

### 5/5 — User-Friendly Communication Tool

*2024-08-30*

I am using this app as a supplement to my child’s AAC device and general communication needs. I am able to quickly and efficiently get pictures, create lists for learning, etc. You can also print what you create. I wish I had this app 3 years ago when my child was first learning the PECS system.

**Developer response:** Thanks! We've heard from many other users that Visual Choices is an excellent complement/supplement to their existing communication system.

Was looking for an app to enable us to communicate choices with our son, and this one does the job perfectly.

### 3/5 — No lifetime option

*2025-07-30*

Very cool concept, but unsupportable without a lifetime option. It is not reasonable to pay in to infinity for a product that largely remains the same, even accounting for support, which should be minimal if a product works as it is supposed to. The Apple Store supported a majority of pay-once apps for many, many years so I know this is possible. Add a (reasonable) lifetime option and I would recommend it to others and consider purchasing it.

**Developer response:** We'll add a lifetime option. Thanks for the feedback! Please contact me at julius@skieslearn.com if you'd like us to set up something up for you right away.

### 4/5 — Easy way to support vocabulary

*2024-12-10*

This application offers many useful features which can be tailored for individual child’s needs. I highly recommend giving it a try.

**Developer response:** Thank you! We've tried to make it customizable. In the event it's not quite a fit, we are very receptive to feedback.

### 4/5 — Visual

*2024-09-30, version 0.2.3*

A good app for kids to learn how to identify the picture with sounds

### 4/5 — Great app

*2024-09-10*

This app is a great resource for parents. It’s a cost efficient way to provide visual support to children who need it. It’s both easy to use and functional.

**Developer response:** Thank you! We aimed for a reasonable price plus lots of functionality aimed at visual support.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2024-09-03*

A little confusing to operate the board due to the layout and the sheer amount of buttons but other than than it is really neat how you can had gifs and pictures yourself on your own categorizes and customize it almost completely

**Developer response:** We've made the interface cleaner and simpler, hopefully it helps! The boards and items are very customizable as you say, and even support little videos.

### 4/5 — Would love…

*2024-03-18*

A locking section so child can’t change options. Can’t find on Google Play Store. Love this app so much I was going to add it to my kiddo’s tablet too.

**Developer response:** Sadly we don't have an Android developer, so this app is only available on the Apple App Store. The suggestion about a locking section is good, we will look into this.

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2023-11-02*

This is an awesome app! My only complaint is that I would love to be able to type in the choices for the visual board instead of only have the voice to text option. The microphone doesn’t pick up things correctly in noisy places

**Developer response:** You now have the option to use the microphone, keyboard, or camera to add choices to the visual boards. Thank you for the feedback!

This app is incredible!! You can make choice boards and even record yourself saying all the choice words. Huge thank you!!

### 5/5 — Eye Gaze??

*2026-03-19*

I’m just learning that there is an eye gaze function in this app. If it turns out to be functional enough, this will easily become my favorite free AAC app. Will update after I’ve worked with it more.

### 5/5 — HOPEFUL

*2026-01-26*

We’ve just been the receiver of a tbi and it’s been a challenge communicating to say the least. My son is learning deep breathing very quickly and I’m so grateful for that he was able to get out that pictures may work better for him and this is something that I can actually afford and understand THANKYOU SO MUCH truely from the bottom of my heart. If nothing else it’s given me some understanding and clarity into the way he sees things when he’s looking at them now.

**Developer response:** We are happy the app has been useful to your son through his rehabilitation process. Thank you for letting us know about his communication success!

### 5/5 — Autism

*2025-09-04, version 0.3.15*

I love this app - helping my autistic child greatly!

### 5/5 — Best User Friendly AAC app Yet

*2025-08-20*

As an SLP I’m always looking for user friendly apps for my parents and myself to use with my youngest clients. This is by far the most user friendly and adaptable app I’ve seen so far. Thank you for creating it. I can’t wait to start teaching my families how to use it. And also thank you for allowing me to share boards that I create with my families. Saves me so much time since I don’t have to do double the work and keeps all of the providers and family using the same icons.

**Developer response:** Thank you! AACs that are easy to use are the ones that get used, get modelled, and lead to success for everyone.
