### 3/5 — Spent 15-20minutes trying to plot e^-(i x) - no dice

Clearly many nice things about the calculator, but I couldn’t get it to plot a complex function using standard notation.  Tried multiple plotting types, multiple ways of input.  It’s either a limitation of the system or the documentation— either way there are too many competitors for me to continue spending effort trying to decode the limitations of the app.  Pity — as this would be great for plotting wave equations.  (It does work with sin/cos expressions — but I’d rather type my equations in binary...)

This is a useful tool to have, but on my ipad pro(9.7-inch)(ios 13.5.1) I seem to be unable to hide the calculator as it is done in the video, and it would be nice to be able to use the whole screen for the visualization. I have tried opening the menu, but the calculator doesn’t react(on my iphone opening the menu closes the calculator), and the calculator button doesn’t do anything. I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting the device, but it didn’t help. Is this a bug, is the calculator simply a permanent fixture, or am I just stupid?

It seems like θ is viewed as a constant in some cases, like r=cosθ, it should be 2 rings, rather than a circle.

The app seems to be quite powerful but I have a simple problem: I can’t figure out how to change the scales on the x and y axes. Surely there is a way to do this. The default seems to be -6 to 6 on both axes with the rather odd subdivisions of 0.6. Hopefully the developer can set me straight and I can add two more stars.

This app is by far the best graphing app. The type is very pretty and the graphs look very nice. The ability to graph parametric, implicit and vector fields is very good. 

That said the vector fields in 2d have poor scaling and I’d like the option to have them be unit vectors. Also, the introduction of a slope field option would be nice to visualising solutions to differential equations. 

Overall very great, would rate 5 if not for weird vector scaling in 2d. 3D seems to not have this problem.

Thanks very much for the great app regardless.

I was using this app for hours and hours every day for 3D modeling geometry mockups at work up until 04/01/2024. The app no longer opens, and I seem to have lost hundreds of saved graphs. Anyone else having this problem?

I used this app's export function for papers and lectures several years ago. I recently came back to it, to plot some practice error surfaces for adaptive filters. But now I can't find the "Save" button/menu to save the whole set of equations, not just the exporting plots. The export menu doesn't seem to have a Save item. I checked with the dev's website but couldn't find anything. Any help appreciated.

Which device and iOS-Version you are using?
The newest update needs iOS 11.

I installed this app mainly for plotting complex functions. I wanted to have a better understanding of wave functions in quantum mechanics. However, there is no way to plot complex functions despite the app descriptions!

The app supports plotting of complex equations.
You need to enable complex graphs on the settings page.
