This app is is fantastic for me as I want to review and sharpen my abilities. I wish I had had this as a kid! The design, colors and animation is amazing to look at and it is very interactive and fun to use. There were a few reviews that stated that the app was slow. This can be remedied by restarting the app. You can see the apps are 'running' in the background by tapping twice the home button. Then a row of icons appears in the lower part of the iPad screen. You can move the row with your finger to see even more apps. Those are the apps you have recently used and are frozen in the background ready to be used again. If you press on any of the icons and hold you will see that they start to wiggle and a red minus sign appears next to all of them. If you press the minus sign you will quit the corresponding app in the background (it will not delete the app). Then when you start the app again it will restart. So if you find the app running slow, quit and restart it as explained above. It will be fast again! I like this app for visualizing math much more than the abacus style apps. Worth every penny! ### 2/5 — potential *2011-12-15* I bought this app for my son because he has Autism and struggles with simple multiplication. Visual aids work best for his learning and I thought this app might help. It was actually more confusing for myself and I work in the computer industry! My son just played with the circles =(. Waste of money for me. I wish I had a try before you buy option. ### 2/5 — Very slow and simple, nice UI, bad value *2011-12-12* I bought it because it was featured by Apple and had a positive review on Wired. The app is though much simpler than expected being in essence just an interactive muplication table so that my kid quickly lost interest. The second major problem is that on the ipad 1 at least the app is extremely slow, so slow in fact that it is barely useable.
