I love that there’s an app for both parents and teachers (and behaviorists!) to use at a reasonable price which can be utilized anywhere there’s a digital form of access! However, sometimes I have a series of tasks after example for getting ready: •I take shower which usually takes 8 mins •then drying my hair which could take 10 mins •then apply makeup- 12 mins, etc. Or same thing for exercising, or baking, etc. Could it be like a timer that stops after one another with each timer colorful all in one pie to keep my task color-coded without confusion and help keep me on track. I have low vision so I have to use voiceover accessibility software. Most of the visual timer works with voiceover, but there are a few places where it doesn’t. Specifically, some of the items in the settings won’t activate while voiceover is running. Once the Visual Timer is completely accessible I will be happy to rate it 5 stars. Complete waste of time ### 2/5 — Good UI, but sometimes no sound *2022-11-20, version 1.2.1* This app is great in that it counts down the time; BUT there are times in which it doesn’t sound the alarm. I don’t know if it’s only supposed to sound when you’ve got it open and not in another app or on lock screen. But so far it’s unreliable in letting you know when times up. ### 2/5 — Alarm doesn’t sound *2019-03-26, version 1.0.9* I tried using this, but unfortunately the alarm doesn’t sound unless you stay in the app. I like that you can save the timers, but I will probably delete since I need something that will work even if I’m not directly in the app. ### 2/5 — Needs an edit function *2018-06-12, version 1.0.1* I like this concept, but a few things need updating - the scale of the timer obscures other functions like time left on the number countdown. But the developer didn’t add an edit for timers. Once I have set a multi-task timer, I’m unable to edit it. So if I’ve made a mistake, or don’t like the color scheme, I have to make a new timer. App seems to stall/pause if not the primary screen, which I don’t like. It would be nice to have more color choices for the timer as well as the ability to link timers so I can more easily segue from my work timer to my break time timer. With your indulgence, some feature requests: 1) can the clock face be scaled for small timer values so, for instance, if the timer is set for one minute or less the face would show 60 seconds. 2) can the end chime and voice be customized so I can select any sound in the iOS pallet of sounds. 3) Can the chime be available when the app is in background, so if I’m working in another app the chime still sounds. I set up a custom timer for myself at the start of every day with each task and appointment I have scheduled, then I can easily see how much of the day is gone and how much longer I have to finish something without losing track of time. It’s also a handy record of what I did that day to look back on. I might be using the app in an unexpected way, but I have some suggestions for the devs. 1. Make the tasks arrangeable. If I’m typing in ten things I don’t want to have to delete seven of them when I realize #3 is out of order. 2. Make it possible to tap on the pie chart sections to see what task is coming up next. 3. Make it possible to skip to the next task for those blessed instances where a meeting ends early. Love it, and use it every day!
