This comprehensive and free audio-app is the perfect companion to your visual dictionary. Each language pack offers over 15,000 keywords and phrases spoken in both languages. All words are taken directly from the books and pronounced by native speakers. Simply download the free app and choose from six language packs: Arabic, English, Spanish, Italian and German as a foreign language.

What does the app have to offer?

• Current and comprehensive vocabulary with over 15,000 words and phrases in both languages (7,500 for German as a foreign language)
• Complete audio rendering of six visual dictionaries by native speakers
• Essential vocabulary fields like people, appearance, health, home, services, shopping, food, study, work, transport, travel, sport, leisure and environment

How does the app work?

• Download and open the free audio-app 
• Choose the language pack which goes with your visual dictionary in the library
• Scan the barcode on the back of your visual dictionary - hold your phone in an upright position and wait till scanner focuses on the barcode
• Follow the instructions to download the language pack
• After the download is completed, scan any page of the book to open the word wheel
• Tap on any word to listen to its pronunciation
• Swipe up and down to switch to the next word
• Swipe left or right to switch to the vocabulary of the previous or next page
• Use the button in the top-right corner to sort the words alphabetically
• After onetime download of the language pack, the app can be used offline

Ich habe mir heute das Buch arabisch/deutsch gekauft, die App heruntergeladen, den Barcode gescannt und nun funktioniert der Button 'Fortfahren' nicht. Leider kann ich so mit der App nichts anfangen. Schade.

Ich habe mittlerweile fünf Bücher. Die App funktioniert mit der integrierten Bibliothek einwandfrei. Zugegebenermaßen kann ich so viele schlechte Bewertung nicht nachvollziehen. Ich benutze ein i phone seit Jahren. Und egal ob das neues Gerät alt oder neu ist, hatte ich nie Probleme. Ein Punkt Abzug wegen der praktischen Redewendungen die nicht in der App integriert sind.

Die Idee dahinter ist gut, als ich das Buch gekauft habe war ich froh darüber das es von dem Verlag auch eine App gibt die mir dann bei der Aussprache helfen könnte, jetzt bereue ich den Kauf des Buches, hätte doch das von Pons nehmen sollen. Wenn ich die App öffne dann bleibt sie für etwa 20 Sekunden offen bevor ich rausgeschmissen werde, bei erneutem öffnen werde ich allerdings sofort wieder rausgeworfen, so neben bei habe ich das IPad Air 4 und die Software ist auch auf dem neusten Stand also kann es daran nicht liegen. Werde das Buch so bald wie möglich umtauschen lassen. Kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen, weder das Buch noch die App.

Auf meinem iPhone funktioniert die App 1A. Die Sprecherstimme ist zudem weit besser als eine reine Computer-Stimme.  Für 10 Euro (Buch, App) extrem gut.

Ich hatte die App auch schon auf meinem alten handy. Da manchmal noch ein Buch dazukommt. Bei meinem neuen Handy hat der Ton anfangs auch nicht funktioniert. War ziemlich enttäuscht. Aber es liegt daran das mein handy auf stumm gestellt ist. Bei anderen apps geht die Musik trotzdem, bei dieser eben nicht. Also einfach mal darauf achten. Ansonsten bin ich zufrieden mit der App 👍🏼
