## What is VIT AP Menu?

VIT AP Menu shows you exactly what's being served at the VIT-AP hostel mess — breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner — the moment you open the app. No more asking around or checking a notice board.

WHAT IT DOES
• See the current or next meal highlighted automatically, based on the time of day
• Browse the full week at a glance
• Menu updates live — no app update needed when the mess schedule changes
• Handles VIT-AP's actual fortnightly rotation (Week A / Week B) automatically, so you're never looking at the wrong week's menu
• Supports both the Regular and Special mess plans
• Add the Home Screen widget to see today's meal without even opening the app
• Optional reminders shortly before each meal starts

WHO IT'S FOR
This first version is built for VIT-AP's incoming freshers — a simple, reliable way to know what's for lunch without digging through group chats or hostel notices. It's just the beginning: more features are on the way as the app grows with campus feedback.

The menu itself is maintained by the mess coordinator and kept current throughout the semester.
