## What is VitaCircle?

Photograph your parent's medication boxes. VitaCircle reads the labels — the name, the strength, the instruction line — and builds a daily schedule around when they actually wake, eat and sleep.

A label says "twice daily". It does not say 9am. So the times come from their routine, not from an assumption.

• Photograph the boxes, or type a medicine in by hand — both free, always
• Reminders built around their day, not a default
• Knows when a pack runs out, and says which weekday
• Reads expiry and beyond-use dates, and keeps them apart
• Warns when two boxes share an active ingredient
• A spoken daily check-in, in their language
• 16 languages — read it in yours while the label is printed in theirs

What it refuses to do matters as much. A tapering course is handed back to you rather than flattened into a pattern. An as-needed medicine is never put on a clock.

The Family Plan adds a written weekly summary and a medication list for the doctor. Scanning, reminders, refill and expiry warnings and the daily check-in are free, and stay free.

VitaCircle organizes a prescription a doctor already wrote. It does not give medical advice, and no dose should ever be changed because of something it displayed.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-26

Your medicines now carry the Vita mark.

New icon: two rings, each one a leaf, in Vita's own colours — so VitaCircle is recognisable as part of the family it comes from.

You can now correct a medicine's name and strength. The scanner reads a label off a photograph and a curved foil strip in poor light is sometimes read wrong; until now that reading was permanent. Tap the name to fix it, and every reminder updates with it.

The name of the person you're caring for is editable too, in Settings. It was captured once on the first screen and then frozen for good.

And your medicines now follow your Apple ID. Delete the app, change phones, or reinstall months later, and the cabinet comes back with you instead of being re-photographed box by box.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-25

Your medicines are now one tap away.

"Medicines" is the first button on the main screen — every medicine, its times and where it's kept, in one place. It used to be buried three taps deep in Settings, and people told us they couldn't find it.

Reminders now ask permission the moment you set a dose time, and the app says plainly when they are switched off — a schedule can no longer sit there never alerting anyone.

Adding a medicine takes you straight to setting its times.

The subscription price and button no longer scroll off the bottom of the screen.

You can now type a medicine in from the scanner screen, not only when the app is empty.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-23

Two fixes, both reported by someone using the app.

Fixed: subscribers were sometimes shown the upgrade screen again on launch. The app was deciding before the App Store had confirmed the subscription. It now waits for the answer.

Fixed: medicines added recently were counted as missed on days before you added them, so a new medicine could report a week of missed doses it never had. The weekly summary now counts from the day a medicine was added.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-22

VitaCircle now speaks your App Store language too — the listing is available in all sixteen languages the app already supported.

Fixed: the weekly summary counted doses from days before a medicine was added, so a newly added medication could report a week of misses it never had. It now only counts from the day you added it.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-21

You can now add a medicine without the camera.

• Type it in. A new "Type one in instead" option adds a medicine by hand — name, strength and how often. Free and unlimited, like scanning.
• Skip the scan. The setup screen now has "I'll add them later", so you can look around first and add the medicines when the boxes are in front of you.
• A list for the doctor. Every medicine, its strength and its times on one plain list you can send, print or take to an appointment. Part of the Family Plan.
• Changing the language now applies everywhere immediately, including Settings.
• When a label is printed in another language, the translation is shown once, in the language you read, with the printed wording kept underneath.
• Seven days free on the Family Plan.

Scanning, reminders, refill and expiry warnings and the daily check-in are free, and stay free.
