## What is Vitric?

Vitric is a calm glass-shatter puzzle for iPhone and iPad.

A pane of glass fractures into a field of unique shards. Each shard
belongs to exactly one place. Drag pieces from the scatter tray, line
them up, and watch each one lock home with a soft green glow. When the
last shard settles, the pane is whole again.

Every level is built solution-first, so it is always solvable — no dead
ends, no impossible boards, no luck. The challenge is finding where each
piece belongs.

A GENTLE, GROWING CHALLENGE
The difficulty rises one mechanic at a time, so the game teaches itself:
• Early levels — slide shards straight into place
• Then rotation unlocks, snapped to clean 90° turns
• Then free rotation at any angle
• Finally horizontal flips, for shards that are mirrored

Piece counts climb alongside each new mechanic, so the curve stays
smooth from your first pane to your hundredth.

EARN YOUR STARS
Solve in few moves to earn three stars. The threshold scales with the
size of the puzzle, so a big, busy pane is just as winnable for three
stars as a small one — efficiency is rewarded, not raw speed. Your best
star count is kept for every level.

PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE
There is no timer and no failure state. Put it down mid-puzzle and it
will be exactly where you left it when you return — Vitric resumes the
right level and the exact arrangement of your pieces.

BUILT FOR EVERY HAND
• One-finger controls throughout — drag to move, on-screen buttons to
rotate and flip. No multi-finger gestures required.
• An optional placement guide shows a faint outline of each shard's
home for an easier, lower-pressure solve.
• Sound effects can be turned off independently; gentle haptics stay
  on either way.

PRIVACY, RESPECT, SIMPLICITY
Vitric contains no third-party analytics SDK, no advertising, no account
system, and no network code. Nothing leaves your device. The app runs in
airplane mode exactly the same as online. It is free, with no in-app
purchases and no subscriptions.

iPhone and iPad. iOS 26.5 or later.

If Vitric becomes part of your quiet few minutes — on a commute, in a
waiting room, before sleep — we'd love to hear from you.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-06-11

Make every pane your own.

• Levels map — see every level you've reached and the stars you've earned, all in one place.
• Replay & improve — jump back into any level to beat your best star rating.
• Race the clock — stars now reward speed and efficiency. Solve under par with clean moves for all three.
• Your photos on the glass — skin the board with one of your own pictures; each shard reveals its slice as it locks home.
• New color themes — Frost, Amber, Ruby, and a colorblind-safe High Contrast mode.
• Polish and fixes throughout.

### 1.1 — 2026-06-06

Polish and fixes:
• Move counter now tracks only piece drags — rotating and flipping a shard no longer counts against your score.
• Scattered shards stay clear of the bottom edge, so you won't trigger the Home/App-Switcher gesture while playing.
• Layout tuning across iPhone and iPad.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-04
