## What is Vitruv?

Sit tall. Sip often. Lock in.

Vitruv is the calm wellness companion that lives between your ears. Inspired by Da Vinci's image of perfect human proportion, it uses the motion sensors built into your AirPods to gently catch you when you start to slouch — and quietly reminds you to drink water, take breaks, and focus on what matters.

It's everything you mean to do during a workday, finally in one place.

POSTURE — POWERED BY YOUR AIRPODS
• Real-time slouch detection using AirPods Pro, AirPods (3rd gen), and AirPods Max
• One-tap calibration — sit how you want to feel, capture your baseline
• A gentle haptic, notification, and optional audio chirp when you've drifted
• Tunable sensitivity and nudge timing so it fits your body, not the other way around
• Live posture dial with session statistics

FOCUS — POMODORO WITH PURPOSE
• Customizable focus, short break, and long break cycles
• Built-in task list — plan how many pomodoros each task should take
• Tap a task to start a focus block on it
• Auto-progresses through cycles, even when the screen is locked

HYDRATE — A QUIET DRINK COACH
• Daily goal and glass size you can set in seconds
• A satisfying ring fills as you drink
• Polite reminders every 15–180 minutes between 8am and 9pm
• Auto-resets at midnight

BREAKS — STAND, STRETCH, BLINK
• Independent break reminders so you move even when you're not in a focus session
• Gentle, never annoying

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything stays on your device
• No accounts, no analytics, no audio is ever recorded
• The only thing Vitruv reads from your AirPods is head orientation

Vitruv is for the people who already know — they should sit up straighter, drink more water, and stop blowing through their lunch break. It's the friend who'd quietly tap your shoulder if they were sitting next to you all day.

Sit tall. Sip often. Lock in.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-06

1.0.1 — sharper feedback, cleaner posture controls

• Posture detection feels live now: head movements track the dial within ~250 ms (was over a second).
• Sensitivity is simpler — one "Slouch at" slider instead of two thresholds, with -/+ steppers for fine tuning. Slouch can be set as low as 0° and nudge delay as low as 1 s.
• Tasks gained a real edit experience: tap a title to rename, -/+ on each row to adjust the planned pomodoro count, and completed tasks are tucked behind a "Show completed" disclosure.
• Pre-flight task chooser when starting a focus session — you'll see exactly which task (or "Taskless session") gets attached before you tap Start.
• Pomodoro durations now persist across launches.
• Quick Settings shortcut from every primary screen.
• Mac: live recap (slouch + timer) under the menu-bar icon, "Open Vitruv Window" actually works now, and the menu names are tidier.
