The only thing I can’t figure out is how to view my dogs medical records. It also doesn’t even retrieve the correct vet address it just gives a general in the area area type thing and my location settings are set to precise. so it’s not my phone settings. It’s just a little too vague and not specific. I was kind of looking for some thing that actually lets you keep track of all of their medical records in one app. Where all the records are easy to access and share with any vet for traveling pets. It’s just is not yet well refined. All of my pets medical records are kept in this app and helps me stay on top of his health along with grooming appointments. ### 4/5 — Love it mostly *2024-03-09, version 3.46* Being able to access my pets’ medical records anywhere is an outstanding capability. I have used it on innumerable occasions. The one area that it seems to fall a little short is sharing medical records. I have tried to do this 3 times now with Vets other than my primary ones and it has never worked as I expected. If I want to share the records from the app with a Vet, it should work to share all records. For example, I wanted to share recent bloodwork results for my dog with a Vet who is doing physical therapy for him. I tried 3 times when I was at this Vet’s office and it never worked. I had to report to going home, printing and then scanning the records to email to the Vet. This functionality would greatly add to the use of the app. ### 5/5 — Great Way to Communicate With Vet! *2024-02-07, version 3.46* This app has made it very easy for me to communicate with my Vet! She can send me test results and update my pup’s records. When out of town, my pup got sick. With this app, I was able to share vaccination records with the Urgent Care Vet without worrying about whether I had the paperwork! Awesome! The Facebook login was not working. No auto strong password. Wouldn’t let me enter a suite number for the veterinarians address. I quit and deleted account and app at this point. Thought maybe I was doing something so I deleted my account to start over now it gives me no pets at all and when I manually create a pet and request records thru the app it tells me that my clinic is already with VitusVet, yet my dog has no records? So confused. I gave up. ### 1/5 — Unable to add pet *2025-09-05, version 3.46* I spent the better part of an hour trying to add my dog to the app. It just never saves regardless of what combination you provide. All of my pets are listed, but there are no records listed besides vaccination history. That’s making this diagnosis extremely difficult. I have literally had to scan the paper records from my vet to pdfs, upload to them to my iCloud, and have to show THAT to the various vets I’ve been visiting. When I try to get help in the app, I get an error message that I don’t have an email address set up on my device (I do). When I try to contact my main vet within the app, it just shows me their phone number. Not helpful. I have called my vet about this issue numerous times and they have no idea what the issue is. This app has negatively impacted the healthcare outcome of my pets by delaying my access to their medical history. ### 1/5 — Not Happy *2022-12-22, version 3.44* I have had this app for quite awhile. I have 2 dogs. One of them is showing & info is complete and it’s convenient to use for her. My 2nd dog had never been added. I have contacted help via the app 2 or 3 times to get him added. The vet office says he was added. They don’t know what is going on. No one from VitusVet has even responded to me. If both dogs aren’t on the app it really doesn’t help to use the app. UPDATE—The response I had was to reach out to support. 🤣🤣. I did that 3 times. There is no support for this app. ### 1/5 — iPhone only: too hard to use *2022-07-20, version 3.42* Probably great for young folks with steady hands. Accessibility is certainly not a strength. They don’t have a working website (have one, but cannot log in). Don’t have an iPad version. I had high hopes regardless, as I wanted to store all of my vet records in case anything happens to my paper copies. I spent 2 hours uploading them, a large part of which was waiting for the app to respond. I did this yesterday, and went to quickly glance at the photos of paperwork Id attached and there was nothing there. For any of my three animals whose information I’d uploaded. I wasted a ridiculous amount of time on something that didn’t function properly.
