## What is VIVESS?

Aplicación que permite a los pensionistas residentes en el extranjero, la posibilidad de acceder al sistema de Seguridad Social para presentar una prueba fehaciente de vida. 
La aplicación permitirá al pensionista identificarse en la misma, o bien a través de Cl@ve o mediante mecanismos biométricos. 
Una vez identificado el pensionista en la aplicación, tendrá acceso al servicio para realizar el proceso de confirmación de vivencia. 
Realizada fe de vida, si esta es positiva, se remitirá al INSS toda la información necesaria junto con un documento firmado que acredite que ha realizado esta validación por el procedimiento de video-identificación. Este documento será almacenado en los sistemas corporativos del INSS. 
Recibida y procesada satisfactoriamente la fe de vida por parte del INSS, se emitirá un justificante al pensionista. Desde la aplicación recibirá un aviso indicando que puede descargar dicho justificante a través del apartado específico de documentos. 
Los pensionistas que ya hayan realizado el control de vivencia por este mecanismo podrán ser avisados, en sucesivos años, de la necesidad de volver a acreditar vivencia por un mensaje en esta aplicación. 
Para acceder al sistema a través de Cl@ve, debe estar registrado como usuario en la propia aplicación Cl@ve, ya sea a través de DNI o certificado electrónico o presencialmente en una oficina.

Have tried to use this app for 3 years, each time hoping it has been fixed. It has never worked. I reported it at Spanish consulate and they say it simply doesn’t work.  I agree that proof of life is necessary to combat fraud, but a functioning app is very helpful, especially now that that the process is required multiple times a year. It is incomprehensible that this hasn’t been fixed for YEARS. It is almost like Spain wants its elderly pensioners to give up and lose out on rightful payments!

It doesn’t work on my iPhone. I know someone with an android for whom it works.I get an error on trying registrar. I have been trying for eight months and it tells me to try again in a few moments every time. I have contacted the SS and although they have replied they haven’t solved the problem. Does it only work on android phones? I now have 5 days left to give my proof of life but I can’t.  All information assumes you can register so very frustrating no help for problems at this stage. Alternatives like going to London are expensive and difficult for me

I have to prove I am alive to get my Spanish pension. I have spent hours on the app but it simply does not work. I have written to them and all they do is tell me to go back to the app. What’s the point when it doesn’t work? I have now been three months with no pension.

Have tried multiple times to use the video signature but it just doesn’t work.. keeps saying “Sorry, there was an error. Please access the application again after a few minutes. Excuse the inconvenience.” Have tried multiple times a day for weeks, have deleted the app and reinstalled, makes no difference, always the same error.
