It asks for numbers on my pension that do not exist. I can’t change my phone number. Entre les bugs incessants, la reconnaissance faciale qui fonctionne une fois sur dix et les problèmes de connexion, c’est un cauchemar. Impossible de valider mon certificat de vie sans devoir recommencer plusieurs fois, et aucune assistance efficace en cas de problème. Pour une application aussi essentielle, c’est inadmissible. Para eso coloquen abstenerse viudas de españoles en Estados Unidos. Perdida de tiempo y espacio en el telefono. Need to have another way to verify proof of life or a better app! ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2026-07-15* Have tried to use this app for 3 years, each time hoping it has been fixed. It has never worked. I reported it at Spanish consulate and they say it simply doesn’t work. I agree that proof of life is necessary to combat fraud, but a functioning app is very helpful, especially now that that the process is required multiple times a year. It is incomprehensible that this hasn’t been fixed for YEARS. I have an iPhone 13 and used it to TRY and prove my father is still living for the purposes of receiving his Spanish pension in the UK. The video technology does not work and simply takes you back to the beginning of the process where you have to put all your details into the app all over again (because it’s incapable of saving anything!). This process has been in existence for at least a year and I can’t believe it still doesn’t work on a modern smart phone. And with an iPhone 11 it did perfectly fine! It was really really good! I recommend it! It saves loads of time, it’s software and layout is very easy to manage and understand! Thank you for the creators of the app! It’s lovely! I know someone with an android for whom it works.I get an error on trying registrar. I have been trying for eight months and it tells me to try again in a few moments every time. I have contacted the SS and although they have replied they haven’t solved the problem. Does it only work on android phones? I now have 5 days left to give my proof of life but I can’t. All information assumes you can register so very frustrating no help for problems at this stage. Unclear confirmation of the verification process. *2024-03-25, version 3.0.1* Used the app and the sequential experience and interface was intuitive, however upon completion of the process I was shown a screen that says the document is ‘signed and sent to INSS’, and, that follow up confirmation will be sent within the application a ‘few hours later’ —this follow up feedback neither arrives confirming in the positive, nor does it arrive in the negative to prompt alternate methods or a repeat of the whole process. I’m helping my elderly mother complete this task and currently know that we did, as advised, with no hitches / errors weeks ago before a deadline, yet am unable to confirm that this is the case to her or easily understand why not, or to whom we should speak to resolve.
