A new record. Update 2: 3 random “something went wrong with your stream” disconnects. No response from developer. Repeat: the developer does not appear interested in addressing issues of this app on ipad. Freezes projection after only a few minutes of use. Vivi is not ipad capable. Interrupted a presentation and learning sequence on multiple occasions. This app is not usable on an iPad. Vivi was never very reliable. On iPad the latest update causes more frequent lag, freezes and random disconnects. The app and iPad memory management seem unable to coexist with the app losing its place when going away and coming back to it (it can’t remain active in the background). PowerPoints and video streams often freeze mid-presentation forcing a reconnect in the middle of a meeting/class, if it doesn’t just disconnect randomly. Highly recommend a HDMI cable to negate the need for this functionally frustrating experience. ### 1/5 — Frequent crashes *2025-09-01* The app crashes multiple times in a 30min span. Cannot say anything nice about my experience using this app. Recommend your organisation aim for a native solution or a hdmi cable - these are actually reliable. This app is not. Their dev team is always encountering and having to fix “issues”. ### 1/5 — Don’t *2025-02-18, version 3.9.2* Lags, freezes, disconnects. Nothing other than a cancel button and a couple of greyed out arrows appears. ### 1/5 — Trash *2024-08-25* This app has many issues: various incompatibility with video streaming (YouTube), drop outs and disconnects, and seeming inability to handle any form of multi-tasking from switching between media presentations whilst presenting to a projector over wifi (eg: PowerPoint to video to notetaking apps in enterprise education environment) leading to afformentioned disconnects. Vivi interrupts presentations with freezes, glitches, lag, and disconnects for no reason. Either the app is incapable of living up to its promises or iPadOS ram handling and Vivi don’t get along. Recommend try a different solution or implement apples inbuilt airplay for your workplace (can’t wait to be rid of this laggy mess of an app) ### 1/5 — Latest update broke the app *2024-05-15* Latest update broke the app. All I see is the Vivi screen when the app opens and it no longer lists the different vivis I can connect to. ### 1/5 — App isn't working after update 😭 *2024-05-08* App won't load at all after update. The only problem I have is that the TV my cluster uses always freezes when watching a video. Can you please try fix this?
