It often force closes or gives the blue screen of death in the midst of normal activity within the app. Whether you are scrolling through the feed, trying to create new videos, attempting to change your avatars style, etc. In regards to editing your videos in the app, if you don’t have the patience of a saint, or the presence of mind to save your video (which may or may not force close the app) consistently throughout your edit, then it’s possible to lose all your progress. Sometimes the app will recognize that it force closed and will allow you to return to the video you were working on, but it’s pretty hit or miss. As for the in game currency. They give you 10k to start with, which seems like a lot until you begin to notice the item pricing. Most items run between 50-200 in game currency. It’s easy to burn through that, which results in needing to do your daily activities to make more currency. However, those in game activities involve actions that typically force close the app repeatedly. If you have the patience to reload the app continuously you will eventually manage to make about 180-200 in game currency each day. On to the avatars you can design. In terms of features (eyes lips nose hair etc) it is pretty decent for being a new app, and you can vary the colors of those items pretty nicely. The options for clothing, especially for male characters is extremely limited and lacking in diversity. Female avatars have a bit larger range of clothing but it’s still relatively limited right now. I am sure that will change the longer the game is available since it’s a new app. All in all, it has potential to be a good app, but if you are downloading it currently, then patience will be key to find any enjoyment in the app. Will update in a few months time based on improvements to the app or lack thereof! 6/11 Update: The devs have definitely done a lot of updates to fix a majority of the glitches that made the app nearly unplayable. However, in their most recent update they balanced out the volume of the sound effects. Prior to this update, the sound effects were relatively quiet compared to the overall volume of your background music options. The change in general is a good change.. Except for the fact that it affects all your past edits. So, if you were doing a lot of layering of sounds and music, the way I had done, your older videos are now completely unbalanced for sound. Granted you can reupload them and make the necessary sound adjustments. But for some of us that would mean completely redoing the sound of tens to hundreds of videos. And if we don’t do so, it makes our original videos and the assets created from them practically useless. The clothing options you have are quite limited (or maybe just not my style), and cost in game currency that feels like a chore to get because of how slow the app is. On top of that, when you try making a video/clip, the editor will begin to bug out to the point it won’t function. The actual video itself will glitch, and the animations dont save the parameters of your character ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2025-05-06* I got the app and started making my avatar. I finished making it and naming it, and when i clicked complete, the screen turned blue with a pop up saying there was an error. I clicked ok, and then the pop up went away but the screen stayed a plain blue screen. ### 1/5 — TOS is invasive & in-app currency has a time limit *2025-05-02* I rarely read through an app’s TOS, but I decided to give this one a go since it’s new. I’d advise using with caution from what I found. They have self admitted to collecting all the information on you, including your name, physical address, date of birth, phone number, IP, and gender. This is listed for the purpose of “surveying and collecting statistics,” but I’m wary since they also very clearly intent to monetize this app with advertisers in the TOS as well. Likewise, in this TOS they say that you can be liable for ANY damages the company has deemed you have caused by using the app, by “not using the app as intended” .. very ambiguous. Furthermore, a clause I have copy and pasted from their TOS: “If more than a year has passed since a customer’s last login, Cocone Group reserves the right to invalidate any remaining in-app currency without the consent of the customer.“ So let’s just say this. If you buy currency in this app and have an uncontrollable medical issue that prevents you from logging on (example: falling into a coma) you can lose ALL of your credits in the app if you don’t use it within that year. This is daylight robbery. Don’t spend your money and be cautious when agreeing to things. You don’t know what this company deems as damages and their jurisdiction in the TOS lists all court orders to be referred to Japan’s government. That will be one EXPENSIVE legal battle for you if you’re a foreigner. If you check their prohibition section in the TOS, there’s a lot that you can’t do creatively with this app. You can’t use it to make original characters (OCs) and you can’t VTube with it. You’re not even allowed to use it “in any manner that is not expressly approved of by Cocone Group.“ So TikTok videos or YouTube videos can land you in some HOT water if they don’t like what you’re doing. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-04-19* I keep getting random errors throughout the gameplay. I get an error message that won’t let me post. I try to get to an FAQ but it isn’t in English.
