Maybe there’s something I missing but yeah I don’t get it. I bought the macOS apps this company sells and this supposedly came free. I don’t really know what I got for free. ### 1/5 — How does one use this on an iPad or iPhone? *2022-11-05* The app (and getvivid.app) says that it “Requires MacBook Pro 14 or 16 inch with M1 Pro/Max or Pro Display XDR”, but the App Store preview shows images of it running on an iPhone. I have an iPhone XS Max and a 2021 M1 iPad Pro 12.9”, and will soon have a 2022 M2 iPad Pro 11” (but no Macs — my computers are all windows 10 or 11), and might like to use this app. But I can’t figure out how. Some instructions would be very helpful!!! **Developer response:** Hello, the iPhone and Mac apps are different things. This iPhone App is just a web browser with vivid brightness because we can’t make your whole phone brighter. But the Mac app does make your whole Mac brighter and there is a free trial download on our website. It's not actually, since it's a full web browser that you can use to browse the web at high brightness. However i don't know if this is actually brightening my screen beyond what Apple limits the screen to. Is there some way to confirm i'm getting additional brightness than just manually moving the brightness bar? Thanks! I'm a huge fan of the desktop app btw so i wanted to give the iPhone version a try. **Developer response:** Hi, yes you can test it’s working with the little Vivid sunshine icon on the bottom right. Eclipse mode on the Mac fixes that , but I just blinded myself opening vivid.
