## What is VIVID Calculator?

Guidance for Valve in Valve procedures.
 
Defining prosthetic-patient mismatch (PPM) conditions and combinations at risk for residual stenosis after valve in valve. The application suggests optimal transcatheter heart valve size and the possible need for bioprosthetic valve ring fracture.

Key features:
•      Displaying body size measures.
•      Describing echocardiographic features of a specific bioprosthetic valve in baseline condition.
•      Defining Prosthetic-Patient-Mismatch conditions according to patient body size and bioprosthetic valve type and size.
•      Suggesting optimal transcatheter heart valve size.
•      The calculator describes whether a condition is associated with high risk for elevated post procedural gradients that may be of benefit for supra annular device implantation.
•      Describes conditions that may benefit from bioprosthetic heart valve ring fracture (BVF).
•      Suggestion for BVF balloon size and inflation pressure in conditions in which these are required.
 
The Valve in Valve International Data was established in 2010 and is the largest database on TAVR procedures performed inside failed bioprosthetic valves. The VIVID registry includes thousands of valve in valve procedures to date and describes preferred conditions that may enable optimal hemodynamic results during valve in valve.
