### 5/5 — Excelente para aprender vocabulário

*2026-08-06*

Estou gostando muito do aplicativo. A interface é simples, bonita e fácil de usar. O sistema de repetição ajuda bastante a memorizar novas palavras, e estudar um pouco todos os dias faz diferença. É uma ótima ferramenta para quem quer expandir o vocabulário em inglês de forma prática e consistente. Recomendo!

### 4/5 — Best app and I’ve tried many…

*2026-08-04*

This app is by far the one that has helped me retain the vocabulary better than any other I’ve tried. The multi-faceted approach with visual makes all the difference for me. How you can create review “decks” to save words in categories is awesome. The pace and multiple methods it’s uses to engrain the vocabulary is really great. The ability to lookup any word as well and save it to your decks is great so you’re not fully reliant on whatever word is presented. Some words are not relevant so you can easily discard them not to repeat. This app was extremely well thought out and implemented. I’ve absorbed more in the past 2 weeks than months of other apps.

Great product and the progress has been addicting for me!

The app’s design is attractive and definitely encourages me to engage with it for longer than any other app I’ve used.

Of course, there’s always room for improvement. However, given the owner’s passion, I trust it will only continue to get better

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Money grabbing

*2026-06-23*

It ask questions and wastes time, then asks for your money with giving any idea how this app works. Dont waste your time

### 1/5 — Pas du tout gratuit

*2026-05-02, version 1.3.9*

Mensonger. Seulement 7 jours de test gratuit

### 1/5 — AI Slop

*2025-10-23*

Low quality vocabulary content, but lots of it. Everything is clearly coming straight from ChatGPT - I doubt a human even reviewed most of these entries. Some of the illustrations are almost comically horrific- kids with teeth growing out of their lips, twisted appendages, etc. A lot of the usages are off in the example sentences, and the quizzes often have more than one right answer. Lots of words on there though, so I guess there’s that? Could be cool if a there were actual experts making sure the content was correct, but seems this one is just a money grab, and a pricy one at that.

**Developer response:** Hi there, this is Brian, the app's creator. I spent two years building this, and calling it a "money grab" is baseless, especially when there's a free tier. The images are mnemonics: meant to be vivid because that's what makes words stick. I've worked with teachers and educators—what "expert" would you suggest? I hope you reconsider, as it feels more like a reaction to AI than to my work. That said, I'm always open to constructive feedback at contact@vividvocab.com. I'm working every day to improve the app.

### 1/5 — Forced To Do A Trial Before Even Trying If It’s Even Good

*2025-02-05, version 1.1.6*

I should have known when it was required to sign up with your e-mail and all. All that just to collect your info first and just to see if you’ll pay subscription that surpassed as a free trial. No thanks!

### 2/5 — Refund Due to Flashcard Limit

*2025-04-19, version 1.1.10*

Hi team,

I recently subscribed to the app for one year, but today I received a notification stating that I cannot add more than 80 flashcards per month. I was not aware of this limitation when I subscribed, and it is quite inconvenient, as my primary purpose for using the app is to create flashcards for language learning.

Could you please advise me on the possibility of a refund? Thank you!

Best regards,

### 3/5 — Good App could be made even better

*2026-06-12, version 1.4.0*

Increase the level of hardness. Also provide the capability for users to upload their own list of words in bulk

### 3/5 — Intuitive

*2026-05-18*

The images don’t always match the words

### 3/5 — Neue Funktion

*2026-03-09*

**Developer response:** Hi Feilix, this is Brian, the app's creator. Thanks for the kind words! I'm considering expanding the free version (which already exists), but I need to support the app's ongoing development as a solo developer. Premium is what makes that possible. Email me at contact@vividvocab.com, and I'd be happy to help you out :)

### 3/5 — Mandatory account ⚠️

*2025-12-19*

I want to be able to learn words or try the app without entering in a process of subscription/introduction.
If you truly believe anyone can access your app, then just open it a bit more :)
Uninstalled. I will change the mark if smth changes.

### 5/5 — My new favorite way to improve English

*2026-08-29*

I’ve genuinely been enjoying this app. What I love most is that it makes learning English feel natural rather than something I have to force myself to do. The conversations and vocabulary practice have helped me express myself more confidently and pick up phrases I can actually use in everyday life. I’ve noticed a real difference in the way I speak, and I genuinely look forward to using the app every day. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their English in a more natural and engaging way.

### 5/5 — Really helpful for learning new words!

*2026-08-14*

I've only been using VividVocab for a couple of days, but I'm already really enjoying it. I use it to look up words come across in English, and I really like the visual associations because they make the meaning easier to understand and remember. I've already noticed that I can recall some of the words I've learned, and the flashcards and reviews make it easy to keep practicing.

I definitely recommend this app if you want to learn and memorize new words, whether you're learning English or just expanding your vocabulary.
