### 4/5 — Spanish red.

*2026-08-23, version 2026.33.1*

Lovely bottle. Smooth . Mild tannin. Dark yet translucent in the correct light. Dark fruit. Cherry, maybe plum. Went well with the lasagne!

### 2/5 — Preços

*2026-08-22*

Precisam voltar a divulgar os valores

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear Vivino isn't hitting the mark for you right now. We'd love to understand what went wrong — drop us a line at vivino.com/contact and we'll do our best to help.

### 4/5 — Make more like Untappd!

*2026-08-20, version 2026.33.1*

Not bad, but I want to see what and where my friends are drinking!
Make it more like the Untappd beer app so I can log my wines and remember which ones I’ve had, where I had them, and what I thought of them with a small review and picture with friends!

### 2/5 — Disastrous “upgrade”

*2026-08-17, version 2026.33.0*

They seem intent on running this useful app into the ground. Whatever rebuild they did has made it very slow. Basic data is wrong - the “insights” in particular. (They are the opposite of insights.)

### 5/5 — Memória Líquida

*2026-08-15*

### 5/5 — The best wine app

*2026-08-15, version 2026.33.0*

This app has helped me find good wine at a great price and great wine at a decent price

### 5/5 — Wine

*2026-08-14, version 2026.33.0*

excellent wine !

### 2/5 — Regional and World Rankings??? What’s happened to them??

*2026-08-14, version 2026.33.0*

Vivino used to present regional and world rankings for every wine. The new app no longer has them. So what happened? You owe your faithful users an answer… and should absolutely add this feature back to the app asap.

### 5/5 — Vivino use

*2026-08-13, version 2026.33.0*

Very helpful. My knowledge of wine has increased with my use of this app.

### 5/5 — Essential app

*2026-08-13, version 2026.33.0*

We use Vivino routinely looking for wines to buy in the supermarket or restaurants. Anyone can spend a bunch on wine. We have 2 criteria; 4.0 or more on V and not more than €10 a bottle. Works for us.

### 5/5 — Ratings

*2026-08-13, version 2026.31.0*

I think should be better to rate the wines on a decimal points basics. I have rate wines unfairly because of the way it is now...

### 4/5 — Paid but can’t add wines to cellar

*2026-08-12, version 2026.32.0*

I recently paid the subscription only to find that I can’t add bottles to my cellar. It’s added the wine to my cellar but adding the bottles only added a 3 to the cellar details icon, (and of course also lost price and location details that I input). When I tap the cellar details icon it wants me to add bottles again! I’m regretting paying the subscription now. In effect the Cellar feature is unusable for bottles added after the recent update.
Update: after uninstalling and reinstalling the app the problem was fixed and I can now see the correct ‘Cellar Details’ page.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-08-11*

After upgrade some functions is not working properly, I hope devs work on it. Overall it is a good app

### 5/5 — Vino Levantino

*2026-08-11, version 2026.31.0*

I am enjoying the use of the Vivino app most of the time give me an accurate description of the wine I am drinking.

### 5/5 — Best app for anyone into wine

*2026-08-11, version 2026.31.0*

Great app to keep track of the wine in your cellar or to capture wine when visiting friend or at the restaurant. Best companion when facing the impossible task to choose a bottle of wine.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Where’s the %?

*2026-08-27, version 2026.34.0*

The most important thing Vivino had to offer, to me anyway, was the percentage ratings both regional and the world. For some reason they dropped it and for that reason I stopped using this app!

### 1/5 — No manual wine entry

*2026-08-24, version 2026.33.1*

This might’ve been a feature previously, but there’s no way to just take a picture of a wine and enter your information manually. You have to get matched with online wines for some reason. And that’s a huge pain in the butt when you buy locally produced short run or even not even nationally sold wines just from a local tiny vineyard. What a waste this app used to be nice. I don’t want wine recommendations I don’t wanna be matched online, I just wanna keep a record of things that I’ve bought and tasted for my own reference.

### 1/5 — Poor execution

*2026-08-19, version 2026.33.1*

Great to have a wine enthusiast app. Unfortunately this is a very poorly executed one. Wine classification, region and style identification , filtering, basically all functionalities are subpar. It is not on a level to justify a premium membership. And when are they going to fix the bugs? Too many to list, but for starters, when you chose to display your wines from a particular grape of region, why do you get everything that you scanned? Who and how gives app choice awards?
Getting worse and buggier with each iteration.

### 1/5 — Worst than Sonos S2 which got its CEO fired

*2026-08-18, version 2026.33.1*

update: customer service told me, 2 wks ago, they know the problem. But still not fixed. However the real great news is that I tried the OENI app and it is absolutely fantastic. Ditch Vivino and take OENI.

opened the app and was forced to upgrade to Premium since I had more than... 20 bottles. Who uses an app for 20 bottles!?! So I did purchase the upgrade. And then, the new app does not work. It can't register new bottles properly displaying error messages and asking to retry. It does not memorize comments or pricing you add, and most of all it shows no way to delete bottles on those new entries (only the old ones you already had on the previous app that worked!). Whoever is at the helm of this should be fired. But I no longer care. Switching to the actual best app which is Cellar Tracker. It is worth the trouble to re-enter my entire inventory. I encourage everyone to ditch Vivino which basically lurred millions of user of "basic" functions for free, and overnight now allows only a max of 20 bottles. Nice way to steal some 4MM$ annually from their user base without warning. Greed has found a new leader. Send the right message: Ditch them!!

### 1/5 — So many spam emails

*2026-08-16, version 2026.31.0*

I would love to use this app, but they keep sending marketing emails.

Don’t worry about changing the settings. You’ll still get marking emails.

Don’t worry about emailing their team. You’ll still get marketing emails.

Don’t download. Don’t enter your email. It will never stop.

### 1/5 — Ruined the App for Profit

*2026-08-08, version 2026.31.0*

It was a great app. This is garbage. It’s sole purpose is to sell wine.

Can’t add a wine. Functionality and user experience is greatly diminished.

### 1/5 — Paid but can’t add wines to cellar

### 1/5 — App change

*2026-07-22, version 2026.29.0*

Do not get this app!!! I loved this app for years, but recently they changed it and they took away the ratings of the grapes and how they lined up in grapes of the region and grapes of the world that was one of my favorite parts of this app don’t know why they took it away. And then to top it off now they’re deceitfully charging for the
App and if you are not the person that checks your subscriptions often they would have you locked in for a $50 year. This app is now a scam! And I have lost years of a wine library. Way to ruin a great app!

### 1/5 — New version is awful

*2026-07-20, version 2026.29.0*

The new version of the app is horrendous. The new team has made the app significantly more difficult to navigate requiring additional clicks and screens, moved features into locations that make no sense, removed a ton of useful information like taste profiles and grape types, pictures are now wonky. Really poor job.

### 5/5 — Go to App to select my wines

*2026-08-21, version 2026.33.1*

### 5/5 — I’m a enthusiastic

*2026-08-20, version 2026.33.1*

This App has help us choose the best wine for our meals.

### 5/5 — Helpful Over the Years

*2026-08-20, version 2026.33.1*

Vivino is super helpful from my perspective, as a still inexperienced but learning wine drinker, to get some idea as to the quality of a wine I’m not familiar with. Without it I have no gauge with which to judge unfamiliar wines. It’s also filled with good educational info on wines. I’ve also bought wines through the app I felt were reasonably priced and of high quality.

### 5/5 — Web site and review

*2026-08-19, version 2026.33.1*

The app will not allow me to get the correct wine and year. That is frustrating as I’ve reviewed a lot of wine. Hmmmm .

### 5/5 — Very

Good

### 5/5 — Please show percentage match even after a rating has been provided

### 5/5 — Useful …

Great app, use it all the time when choosing wines … thanks :)
