Come to learn, you have to download this app. Bit annoyed, but I downloaded the app anyways and immediately regretted it. As soon as you open the app it asks for access to your phone/camera roll, I denied access as it shouldn’t need it for me to just import my photos from the SD card. After denying access, I got a sketchy pop up in terrible grammar that said something like “WARNING: Access to phone to work needed” and then the option to tap cancel or “system”. I immediately deleted the app after getting the pop up and will be trying to return the reader.
