Instead of supporting that, it requires its own proprietary standalone server to stream media. I don't see why that should be necessary. Would only be better if the mouse cursor would disappear after using. There needs to be more contrast in the UI though, also the app icon MUST be changed to something more clean. Just transferred 12 movies, in mp4, avi and mov format. All of them play fine in Flex player. VLC Pal only played 5 successfully. 4 just say “cannot open movie” and the rest only play the audio. What a waste of £2.49 Avoid like the plague. I don’t understand the rave reviews for this product, it is dreadful. ### 1/5 — Was my favorite *2014-07-24, version 7.5* App no longer works. It connects to the VLC host computer like always, let's be enjoy "now playing" for about 5 seconds then crashes every time. My playlist file is 3.5megs, but every other remote plays it perfectly.
