### 2/5 — Needs Work

*2026-06-24*

App crashes when I try to add a mechanic. This is stubborn buggy and I’ve gone back to the free version. iPhone 17 with latest IOS

### 4/5 — App crashes on iPad Pro upon selecting any menu option

*2026-05-10*

The app seems to work fine on my iPhone 15 Pro, but every time I use my iPad Pro to update mechanics, parts inventory, account, etc… the app just crashes and forces me to re-login. I can see the vehicles in my garage on my iPad, and can add a service record, but the app crashes when doing anything else. Again, these work fine on my iPhone. Please ensure a fix gets released to resolve this for iPad Pro iOS 26.4.2 currently.

### 2/5 — Options don’t work like they aren’t suppose to.

*2025-04-23*

I deleted this app not even 24 hrs after I downloaded it. Has a good setup just not very usable

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for trying the app and for sharing your feedback.

We’re sorry to hear that the options didn’t work as expected and that the experience felt unusable. That’s definitely not what we want for our users, especially after first download.

We appreciate your note about the setup being good—that means a lot—but we also understand that functionality is what really matters. We’ll take your feedback seriously and review the issues you ran into to improve usability and stability.

Thank you again for giving it a try and for taking the time to let us know.

### 1/5 — Already payed lifetime subscription and now it want to charge me again for yearly subscription

*2024-10-31*

I’m really disappointed because when when I start to use the free version, it was very nice. The only upgrade for the pro version was to cross data in the cloud, I paid for the lifetime subscription two years ago and now he wants me to renew it for a yearly subscription for $10. I already sent a mail and I had no response. I’m only paying now to recover my data and go to another app.

**Developer response:** Develop your own app and enjoy lifetime access for free. In this day and age, no one would spend hundreds of dollars each month on cloud hosting or ongoing app improvements and get a one-time $10. The only way you can afford that is DIY.

Go read the EULA term of service that you agreed on when you buy the app.

### 3/5 — Handy Tool

*2024-10-21, version 2024.10.2*

The surprise of having to pay to get access to the app wasn’t great (and my data) I understand the need but should have been better warning of the change. Otherwise great application. There are bugs that are usually fixed quickly. Now it being a subscription will hold it to a different level.

### 3/5 — Typo

*2024-10-19*

“Serviced by”, not “Servived by”

### 1/5 — After installing this program on an Ipad and Iphone. It's buggy and unusable.

*2024-06-24, version v2024.6.20*

No refund support

### 2/5 — Gave up

*2024-04-09*

I transferred all my data over from the app I had been using for years because it would not sync between devices. I do not find this app to be very user friendly. I just want to record incidents of maintenance. I have done that only to be unable to find it later. I don’t understand the Mechanic 1 and 2. It must not be for people who are just using it for personal info.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience.

We’re really sorry to hear that your data went missing after an update—that’s understandably frustrating, especially after using the app for so long. Your records should not have disappeared, and we take issues like this very seriously.

If you’re still affected, please reach out to our support team with your account details and we’ll do our best to help investigate and recover what we can.

Thank you again for your patience and for being a long-time user.

### 3/5 — Good but lacking

*2024-02-07*

The app is good but lacking in features others have. Haven’t login to use it. Doesn’t sync with Apple passwords so each time I have to open passwords and search for it. And the biggest one if all is no fuel mileage entry. That is how I keep up on my car maintenance is by entering fuel fill ups on my 4 vehicles and 2 others I maintain.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad to hear you find the app useful, and we’re sorry for the friction around login and password handling. We understand how important seamless access is, and we’ll look into improving that experience.

We also really appreciate your suggestion about fuel mileage tracking—that’s a great use case and helpful insight. We’ll take it into consideration for future updates.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts.

### 3/5 — Login needs to be easier

*2024-01-26*

Need to update the login to facial or fingerprint recognition. Either that or allow user-selected password or the option for no password. No one is going to hack this app to see my oil changes, so it needs to be easier to get into.

### 1/5 — I was hoping

*2026-07-11*

Great idea but poor design.

### 1/5 — Renew shows up 6 mos early; app crashes when selecting anything in the menu

*2026-05-10*

Couldn’t access the app as it said I had to renew my subscription, when my subscription was good for another 6 months. After a number of emails back-and-forth, he finally fixed it. iPad version still crashes when anything is clicked in the menu. Good app, poorly managed.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback.

We’re sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced, especially around the language issues, subscription change, and the image viewing limitation. We understand how important clarity, trust, and usability are, and we regret that we didn’t meet your expectations in these areas.

Your feedback about the text quality and the inability to zoom into saved files/images is especially helpful—we agree these are important usability points and will be revisiting them as we continue improving the app. We also apologize for not following through sooner on the fix you were expecting.

We appreciate you giving the app a try and for highlighting these issues. They will be taken seriously as part of our ongoing improvements.

Thank you again for your honest feedback.

### 1/5 — Thought I bought it, guess not…

*2026-05-03, version v2026.4.21*

Did t realize this was an annual subscription, thought I bought an app. Guess I’m going back to the free version, pen and paper. Not getting another cent from me.

### 1/5 — Can’t say I would recommend

*2026-04-18*

Paid for the updated Pro version. App let me log in when I did. Signed out and now it says my subscription expired. Shame tho because it was what I was looking for.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for letting us know.

Sorry for the trouble with your Pro access—that’s not the experience we want. Please try restoring purchases in the app, and make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase.

If it still shows as expired, contact our support with your receipt details and we’ll get it sorted for you as quickly as possible.

### 1/5 — Favorite feature now removed

*2025-10-11*

The system migration on VMT to VMT PRO does NOT migrate my pictures. I have images on all my entries. I was hoping it would enhance that feature allowing
More than 4 images.
I won’t be using the app. $10 down the drain.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry for the frustration.

We understand how important your photos are, especially when documenting your records. The migration between VMT and VMT PRO should preserve all data, and we regret that your images didn’t come through as expected.

Your comment about needing support for more images per entry is also noted and appreciated. We’ll take this into account as we continue improving the app.

If you’re open to it, please reach out to support with your account details so we can take a closer look.

### 1/5 — Just OK app in poor English

*2025-06-02, version 2025.4.2*

“Servived by”. lol.
This is an ok tracker. Apparently not a good English speaker, or lacks attention to detail..but you’ll figure it out. Pay attention to the terms…they have changed $-wise and the developer’s response is to develop your own app so you’ll have nothing to complain about. I ‘m one of those who paid for the app which has turned into a yearly subscription.

👎🏼. able to save files/pics in the app, but you can’t read them because you can’t zoom in on them. Msg’d the dude months ago, said he’d fix it but nope.

### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible

*2025-03-19*

Doesn’t work
It’s worse than the free one you can’t change any of the presets like currency km to mph it doesn’t save any of your in put its a rip off I paid for it and deleted it all within 20 minutes of trying it DO NOT USE THIS APP you have been warned

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your feedback.

We’re sorry to hear the app didn’t work as expected and that you had a frustrating experience. We understand how important it is for features like presets and saved settings to work reliably, and we regret that this wasn’t the case for you.

We appreciate you taking the time to report these issues, and we’ll review them carefully as we continue improving the app.

Thank you again for trying it.

### 1/5 — Unfair

*2025-01-05*

Let me explain; I purchased this years ago at $10 and understood I was purchasing the entire application. As of recent, this is now a $10/year subscription; and although a good deal; I have already purchased the application, yet am also asking paying the $10/year if I want to keep using this app and/or access my saved data.

There is a free VMT app yet I am unable to transfer my years of vehicle maintenance records since I cannot access my PRO version unless I pay the $10/year fee.

This business decision does not feel fair so I will no longer support/use this application and bring this up with  to get further guidance and request a possible refund.

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2024-11-13*

I upgraded to pro last year so I could move data easily to a new phone. It said the cost was a one time fee but now a year later my account is locked unless I pay another $10.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your feedback.

We understand your concern about the pricing. The subscription helps support ongoing updates, maintenance, and development of new features, but we appreciate that it may not feel right for every use case.

We’re glad you find the app useful, and we’ll definitely take your feedback into account as we continue refining our pricing options.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.

### 5/5 — Is been so many years I been using it, it just keep getting better

*2026-05-07*

Been using the app since covid. Definitely make my life easy to track all my repairs. Is so straight forward and easy.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you so much for your kind words and support!

We’re really glad to hear the app has been working well for you and that you’re enjoying the features. We have a big enhancement on the way that will bring even more improvements and value to the experience—stay tuned!

We truly appreciate you being with us on this journey.

### 5/5 — This app has never failed me

*2025-11-13, version v2025.8.20*

Just amazing how much features is being offered for the price.

### 5/5 — Top Shelve App

*2025-05-01*

Best app I have. Top notch support that is fast and responsive to the user. I’ve used this app and the standard version for over 6 years and all my records are in tact and available whenever I need them. This app delivers as advertised!

### 5/5 — Great app / great features

I think jay leno could manage his car collections maintenance with this app, ton of features 10 stars

### 5/5 — Great Vehicle Maintenance App

*2025-03-04*

I thought I’d leave a review.
It’s a solid app that is functional, allows for customization, and actually looks good.
It is consistently being updated and always gets better. I like the fact that I can input the data I want and the fact that each vehicle gets its own personal profile.
I wish that my page was customizable depending on my use of certain features.
For example I do not use reminders or the workshop, as I am but a simple DIY take care of my own type of guy. I don’t run a fleet.

Either way, the app is great and the developer obviously cares. Please don’t sell out or increase cost too much. Download it and try it today!

### 5/5 — Great app to manage your car collection

*2024-12-25*

I just saw there was only one review for this app with one star. I could believe it so I thought I’d share my experience. I’ve used this app for several years. I own a dozen cars so keeping track of basic maintenance can be challenging. I’ve found this app to be highly effective. Not sure what the other 1-star issue really was because this app works very well. I have it on my iPhone and iPad. It’s everything one would need. This is the third app for keeping track of vehicle maintenance I’ve used and it is hands-down the best I’ve tried. You won’t be disappointed if you try it. I love what it does for me.

### 5/5 — BEST Vehicle Maintenance Tracking app available

*2023-12-17*

12/16/2023 Update:
Still 5-STARS!!! It just keeps getting better. Anyone who states otherwise isn’t paying attention. The developer addresses issue in less than 48-hours via the Facebook group (or message). The latest update includes text NOTIFICATIONS to your mechanics (or customers etc.). This is HUGE for us. We have over 100 vehicles and equipment listed, can print work orders, assign tasks, keep constant records on the cloud (which keeps it SAFE in the event of a crash, or broken device). I’ve never used an app with a developer so responsive and willing to constantly take suggestions on implementing new features. I have personally recommended SEVEN features now, and ALL SEVEN have come to fruition!
Theres no better app out there for tracking your vehicle and equipment fleet… PERIOD!

Another 6-month update… VMTP Continues to be incredible. Developer (Hai) is very involved and keep things running smoothly. Latest updates continue to improve functionality and usability. I submitted a request to add “notifications”, so those of us who own small shops can alert mechanics to new or pending jobs so they’re not missed while busy. Furthermore, having an option for SMS/MMS and/or Email alerts setup will help make necessary change orders when we need to re-prioritize and make all aware of the change to what order maintenance should be done. I know all updates are a process, and I’m well aware that Hai does this on the side. I certainly hope he gets more user support for the PRO version, as it is truly the best in the App Store. Hai has been doing this for FREE for years, and only started a small in-app purchase to cover cloud storage and fees that’s he’d otherwise have to pay himself to supply such a useful app. I personally donated the first year charges +, but as more customers use the app, the cloud drive space has to increase. There is also a Facebook support for VMTP so in the unlikely event of a problem, ALL issues get addressed extremely Quick. New feature ideas are more then welcome and implemented regularly as well. After YEARS of using different vehicle maintenance apps, VMTP is by FAR the BEST one to date. I realize it’s brand new and may have a couple bugs that could come up, but the ease of use and format is exactly what we needed. I can’t believe it’s this inexpensive for all I’m getting stored on the cloud. Best part is that the developer has a Facebook page and makes necessary changes in no more than a couple of days (usually 24-hours). Developer is very open to new ideas/features and has already incorporated a few. Thank you for making this app so user friendly and doing all the work for such a low price. I can only assume the price will need to go up, as more features get added, and I am more than ok with that! Great job, great app, keep it up! UPDATE: After a year of use, app just keeps getting better!! I haven’t even thought of looking for another app, as developer keeps adding functions to make it better. I’ve seen a couple reviews stating people lost their data after an update. This is an end-user issue, and not only is it as simple as logging in after redownloading. Info is saved on the cloud so it cannot just “disappear”. Furthermore, developer has a Facebook group that he monitors and addresses concerns, walks people through issues and most appreciated, he takes and implements SEVERAL ideas if they fit the customer base as a useable function. Lastly, while it’s only $9.99 a YEAR, developer hasn’t charged anyone several months into year two because he wants the app with as many functions as possible without any bugs before charging people. You just cannot ask for better!!! UPDATE: I have been working directly with Hai the past couple years and provided many useful ideas to which he has implement at least 10 out of 12 ideas to make this app shine. Here’s the PROBLEM… Most don’t know that they have NOT actually been charged for this app. Hai (developer) has spent a LOT of time and effort perfecting all of the recommendation and spent countless hours working the bugs out. There is a Facebook group ran by Hai (the developer). If you’ve enjoyed this app, use it regularly, and don’t want to see it go away, take a look at your purchases and notice you haven’t paid a thing. That’s because of the loops Apple creates to make paid apps so difficult to use and keep maintained. With all he’s spent & the fact they take an additional 30% the first year (if you can get approved), it’s quite defeating. Take the time to show you enjoy the app and send through Messenger. He took the VMT app and made it cloud based which cost a LOT for him to pay to give a FREE APP that should be paid. I’ve sent nearly $2K over the past 2+ years because I know how hard this has been and how frustrating it is to have to pay for everyone else’s benefit with nothing to show for it. I really don’t want this to go away, but I certainly don’t want to do it alone either. If more would contribute to cover the cloud fees etc. it would certainly be appreciated by everyone who uses this app. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Great Maintenance App

*2023-09-27*

This is the best app I have and use it religiously for all my vehicles. Tracks all my maintenance and reminds me of upcoming maintenance items. I track my expenses with photos of receipts, parts, etc. The developer is spot on and timely with updates, fixes, and listens to the user adding suggestions and enhances routinely! Couldn’t ask for more! I absolutely love this app!
