The calculator works by estimating your VO2max using a generic mathematical model based on a previous run of yours. It works reasonable within 1500 meter to marathon runs. You may have several race results that indicate different VO2max values. If the races are all reasonably recent and reflect your current fitness level then use the best. If you have been injured or had a break from training since your last race - you should not use an old race result. Run a new test instead. The calculator uses mathematical formulas.
