## What is Vocab Vault?

Vocab Vault is a vocabulary trainer that keeps your word lists on your device.

Collect words
- Add word pairs by hand with language, tags and example sentences.
- Scan vocabulary pages with the camera, the document scanner or a photo you choose. Text is recognised on your device with Apple Vision, and you review and edit every pair before saving.
- Import word pairs from CSV files and export your list as CSV.

Practise
- Flashcards, multiple-choice quiz, spelling and sentence (cloze) exercises.
- Learn known-to-target, target-to-known or mixed.
- Spaced repetition schedules the next review from your previous answers.
- Listen to words with the voices installed on your device.
- Create simple example sentences from local templates.

Stay motivated
- Daily word goal, streaks, XP, levels and achievements.
- Statistics on total, mastered and in-progress words.

Privacy
- No account, no advertising, no analytics. The app has no server of its own; vocabulary and progress are stored on your device.

Please note
- Use Vocab Vault at your own risk. Text recognition, generated sentences, pronunciation and answer checking can be wrong; check important content against reliable sources. Results are not guaranteed, and the app does not replace a dictionary, certified translation or teacher.
- CSV export is not a complete backup: importing restores word pairs only, not progress, tags or all example data. Keep your own backups.
- A usage notice is available in About and Settings.
