### 5/5 — My students love the app

*2020-01-31, version 3.1.1*

I recommend this app to my EL students. They are learning vocabulary in a short amount of time and this app really engages them because of the gamification concept. I am looking forward to future updates.

### 5/5 — Looooooooooooooooove the game so much

*2019-11-01, version 3.1.1*

I love for all the new features and challenges especially when it’s unloaded do more I think there might be a few little things that I don’t like but overall the most fun game ever I have played

### 5/5 — Love it! !

*2019-06-11, version 2.6*

First of all, the interface design of the app is great!! The games already look fun to me before I play them lol

As an English learner, I found this app very helpful. I was a little bit confused when I started playing the game that we need to choose a pair of words, but as I played more, I learned how it works. This game is definitely the most challenging one for me, but I’ve learned more words by finding relationships between two words after I played it!

The other games are less challenging for me, but they are also fun and helpful for my vocabulary learning. What I want to remind other English learners here is that reviewing the words after you finish playing a game (doesn’t matter you lost or won) is actually important and helpful for learning new words! I always skipped the review window when I just started playing it, cuz I was too lazy lol I started reviewing the words after I have failed the same game 5 times, and realized that going through the definitions of the words that I didn’t know actually helps me remember and learn the words, so I can get more correct answers when I replay the game.

In conclusion, the games are fun and helpful for me to learn new words & memorize the old words. I do think users with different levels of English ability might have different experience. However, it doesn’t hurt to try. Maybe this app is helpful for you too :)

### 5/5 — Juego de palabras

### 1/5 — NOT FOR CHILDREN!!!

*2026-04-15, version 3.4.2*

I got this for my daughter, it was a suggested app for improving vocabulary. She was just doing a question, at 8 years old, on this asked that asked what word means to lose the desire to have sex. The app says ages 4+, but is certainly not appropriate for children.

### 1/5 — Weird word variety

*2023-03-25, version 3.4.2*

My 8 year old was incredibly motivated to play and continue playing, and loved that he was learning new words.
He brought it to me three times within 30 minutes to show me words that he was getting- strangle, naked, and drunk, asking me why it was showing him inappropriate words like that.
I understand the value of expanding your vocabulary, but it seems odd to me that words that describe violence or are geared towards adults are sitting inside a game geared for children. It made him uncomfortable, and me uncomfortable seeing his discomfort. We ended up deleting the app, but it was a disappointment because it seemed like a fantastic tool.

### 1/5 — The Vocabulary It Teaches Is Incorrect

*2020-07-07, version 3.1.1*

Select the word that is closest in meaning: “red” is their right answer for “blue,” and “pride” is their right answer for “pleasure.” 😱

The idea of the game is fun, but the vocabulary lessons are horribly inaccurate!

### 1/5 — Confused

*2019-03-15, version 2.6*

Played three rounds of this—-heard about it at a TESOL conference, but this game is definitely not designed for ESL students. It’s already a bit disjointed and weird for native speakers; In two levels I’ve seen two vocab connections that rely on your ability to recall prepositional phrases and secondary definitions of tier 1 words. Who is this for? I can see this being beneficial
for maybe high school native English speakers who struggle with vocabulary and literacy...?

### 3/5 — Cool

*2019-01-02, version 2.4.1*

It is really fun and I like it but I wish it had more levels. Please make more levels!

### 4/5 — This is very quick!!!

*2022-03-15, version 3.3*

Love how this has a business vocab feature and you study by mainly playing games. Please have the new innovative games in the future as promised and since I love SAT words like ‘homogeneous’ and “gobbledygook’, please make a feature of this as well since I didn’t see in the list.
