## What is Vocady?

Write a word by hand. Get back everything you were going to look up later.
Your handwriting is read on the device, and the AI writes the entry: IPA, meaning, example.

HOW WORDS GET IN
Write it with your finger, type it, or photograph a textbook page or your own notes to add up to 50 words at once. (Photo registration is a Pro feature.)

EVERY ENTRY, FILLED IN
IPA, meaning, part of speech, a grammar note, an example sentence, and how the word differs in tone from its near-synonyms. The analysis runs on a server, so it needs an internet connection; words captured offline fill in later.

NINE LANGUAGES
English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian. Japanese and Chinese get furigana and pinyin above the characters, on headwords and example sentences alike, so you can read a sentence aloud before you can parse it. Each word is graded in CEFR (A1–C2). Once you have 10 analyzed words, your stats show that as a JLPT, HSK, TOPIK, TRKI or CEFR level.

6 WAYS TO REVIEW
Six challenges, all from words you saved: fill a blank from context, beat the clock, write the word by hand, meaning from word, word from meaning, and rebuild a scrambled sentence. A streak and calendar heatmap mark the days you showed up. (Challenges are Pro only, and open once you have saved 15 words.)

TAGS AND SYNC
Color tags let you filter the list or quiz one group alone. Words save locally first, then sync to the cloud, so writing and reviewing work offline (AI analysis needs a connection).

FREE AND PRO
Free: five words a day. Pro: no daily cap on saved words (fair use: 300 AI analyses a day), photo registration, and all six challenges. Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial of Pro — no payment details required.
