## What is Vocal Tune Studio?

With Vocal Tune Studio, pitch and time correction of vocal recordings is now finally possible on your iPhone or iPad! Use it as an Audio Unit effect inside your favourite DAW or in standalone mode.

From popular effects to subtile correction:
Retune notes to achieve the popular auto tune effect or apply a more subtile correction. Besides pitch correction, notes can be corrected for timing and volume level as well.

Deep editing:
Each individual note can be adjusted for retune time, retune amount, volume and the amount of formant correction. Artificial vibrato can also be added and adjusted to taste using the vibrato depth and rate controls and settings to adjust the time when the vibrato kicks in and the time in which it reaches the full vibrato depth to obtain a natural sounding vibrato.

Key and scale detection:
Vocal Tune Studio can detect the key and scale of a vocal recording automatically or a key and scale can be manually chosen.

Two workflows:
Choose between two workflows similar to popular desktop vocal tune software: start with either all notes quantised (corrected) or non-quantised. When choosing non-quantised, an additional Pitch Quantisation slider lets you move notes between their original sung pitch and the target pitch within the selected key and scale.

Time correction as a bonus for all audio material:
Aside from vocal pitch correction, Vocal Tune Studio also features a generic time correction/stretching mode which works on any type of audio material (not only vocals, but also guitars etc.). In this mode, any part of a recording that was played off-beat can be time corrected without affecting parts that were recorded in time.

Export MIDI:
Besides the host's ability to render the effect to an audio file, the identified notes can also be exported as standard MIDI file.

Standalone mode:
Besides being a AUv3 plug-in, you can also run the app standalone. Record audio directly, import an audio file or paste an audio file from the iOS clipboard. Auto or manually tune your vocals and correct them for timing errors or apply time correction for any audio material.  When finished, export the result to a WAV file.

Note:
Vocal Tune Studio is also available within our DAW, Audio Evolution Mobile Studio and offers much higher integration there, not requiring to 'record' the audio first into Vocal Tune Studio.

PLEASE NOTE: due to a bug in Auria, Vocal Tune Studio stops working when mixing down or freezing tracks. A work-around is to create a new audio track and select the master bus as input to perform bouncing.

Connected the developer and (obviously, with God’s help) reproduced the bug, sent the screen record. Now, it is fixed, so I can change my feedback. In general, this application is great, especially the vibrato function. It really helps correct the pitch without unnatural sound and so on

I will change my rating from 1 star to 5 stars so you know it’s time to buy it. Until then don’t try to purchase it because it’ll be a waste of money. 

No dev, I will not reach out to you for help. You know the app is flawed and should figure it out for yourself and update it so it doesn’t occur for others. 

Should also add a “make quiet notes loud” and “make loud notes quieter” parameter as well

Until then, scuffed. And will be after for a refund in 7 days from date this is posted

Bought this app, but it turned out, that there is a bug which doubles notes, and it can't be fixed. Developer wasn’t able to help me. Totally disappointed, can’t recommend

A anos procuro um software para afinar voz que funcionasse no IPad. Este não só funciona, como funciona com excelência, por um tempo achei que estivesse tendo algum bug, entrei em contato com o suporte, que prontamente e com muita paciência me atendeu. No final das contas descobri que eu que tinha feito coisa errada kkk, mas mesmo assim me ajudaram. Enfim, só elogios, melhor custo benefício.

This app is amazing, it does what it says on the tin. Although I prefer manually editing each note over using the blanket autotune method.

One suggestion I have is it would be great if we could save our progress while editing to come back to it later as I don’t think there currently is a way to do so.

I purchased this 1 week ago and after using it in Cubasis 3 for a couple of hours I found it to be an excellent tool to have, no more exporting vocals onto desktop for tuning etc.  Very well worth the money 👍

If you could fix this as soon as possible, when editing my vocals after I have imported them from my file manager, and after I have spent so much time rearranging the keys that were missed and adding vibrato and stuff when I export it to my folder, I noticed the vocals randomly will get slower and slower and slower completely knocking it off track like off time. This definitely needs to be fixed because it ruins entire projects.
