The one major failing is that the warm-ups won’t run in the background. When using the app it has to be displayed at all times meaning you can’t do anything else on your phone while warming up. I really like it, the variety of warmups is great, and you can set a playlist for each student. I would give it five stars if it showed you where you are on a piano while it played so you could see what exact pitch you are singing. Overall worth the money. The latest update however has deleted all the playlists and made it uncustomizeable. It's a real shame, hope there's a patch soon! ### 3/5 — App unlikely to work with iOS 11 *2017-06-07* iOS will be released autumn 2017 and this app is listed as one that will likely be incompatible unless updated by the developer. You can check this under Settings > General > About > Applications > App Compatibility. Hoping the developer pays attention. ### 5/5 — Great app for a vocal pro (or almost pro)! *2016-01-07, version 1.3.2* I have been a choral teacher and I am a semi- professional musician/singer for most all my life. The best thing for training your voice is to have a regular warm up routine. THIS app makes it so easy. Try the example warm- up first. It even makes it easy to get the right range of notes for your vocal type. You have complete control over the range. There is a good selection of exercises to pick from and you can place them in the order you wish. Since it is basically an accompaniment app you can use the vowels or techniques that works for you. I start with a series of bubble warm ups for the first thing in the morning. I play it on my morning commute after I drop the kids at school. So I get a quick and easy stretch of the chords right off. Then I use a longer, more involved series to work on vowels and stretch the range to my best tessitura. I also have a short Cool Down series for the end of the day or after a performance (Cooling down is important too when you sing everyday) The warmups and exercises are adequate for a professional but easy enough for students or beginners. If you are a serious singer get this! I also suggest the bundle offered as well, the other apps do a great job and the ear training one is great. Why are you still reading? This is a very good simple app, with welcome customizability for vocal range across all the basic vocal warm-ups. Perfect for singers in most vocal genres. For a jazz singer, however, it would be extremely useful to include, or allow us to create, warm-ups in minor and modal keys. Instrumentalists practice their scales in order to be able to fluidly improvise in any key or mode on the stage; vocalists do the same, and this ability would take this app to the next level. Update your product please!!!! ### 1/5 — NO CONTACT INFO *2018-05-17, version 1.4.1* This “company” has no way of contacting them. The links don’t work. The website had no contact info and they claim to have a Twitter account but they don’t. So there’s no way to submit feedback. I would like to use this warm-up app in my car but the writing is so small I cannot see the directions for each exercise. I have almost crashed my car several times trying to read it. Bad design. I now cannot choose the exercises for my students - in 'settings' the green lit exercises would then play in order. Now the app pays no attention to what I select and simply does its own thing. Now I have to select every single exercise and skip each one to get to the five that I need, these being different for each student.
