## What is VoceChat?

Users with their own server can fully enjoy private chatting service using VoceChat App. It comes with individual and group chats, with text, image and file messages supported. Features like adding reactions, replies and edits to messages, pinning messages in Channels and saving important messages for later reference are also included. Your chatting data will be completely saved on your own servers, thus owned by you.

This works great if you have a fully defined domain name out on a third-party. But if you’re just trying to use it internally for a locally defined server, it will not work.  The app wants the server name in a very specific format and will not work if you just use an IP address or the local host server name it looks like it must go out to the Internet.  This limitation, along with the incredible difficulty to enable any kind of HTTPS connection is making this a no go.
