Great idea. ### 5/5 — Outstanding podcast app *2020-08-28, version 1.0.0.3* This app solves all of the basic problems I have with every other podcasting app. From Apple Podcasts to Spotify (and everything in between, like Overcast, The Podcast App, and Stitcher... I’ve used them all) the way Vodacast let’s me bookmark and subscribe to podcasts, and the way the app lets me manage my shows and episodes... I love it. I find navigation difficult. The first one I played I couldn’t figure out how to skip to a certain point or how to mark something read. I’ve been using Apple’s podcast app and have already listened to quite a few that I wanted to marked already read. It has taken me a while to figure out how. A quick instructional page overlaid on the main screen would’ve been a big help. Also, if Siri reads your texts and notifications over AirPods, it will not automatically start playing again afterwards. It’s possible to import subscriptions from another app, but as far as I can tell, no way to import a subscription for a podcast via an rss feed. Relatedly, there doesn’t appear to be any way to ask the developers a question directly. ### 5/5 — Intuitive Interface, Easy to Use *2022-01-31, version 1.0.13.0* I had been using Spotify for podcasts and found the interface awkward and clumsy, and often wondered why there couldn’t be pictures and links accompanying the episodes. I jumped shipped to Vodacast after hearing about it on True Crimecast and have been pleased so far. ### 5/5 — Love this app! *2021-07-30, version 1.0.11.3* Vodacast gives you a great experience. I love to look through the pictures that go along with the episode while listening! ### 5/5 — Premium Content For Free *2021-07-16, version 1.0.10.6* I currently pay for Spotify Premium to reduce intrusive adds while listening to podcasts. Vodacast does not have those adds and is free to use. This has potential for listener interaction that Spotify cannot offer.
